Thinking of using free XP to unlocked it. Already had the T28, didn't like it.

In some sense, the strength of the turret armor, almost makes it better than the T110E4 ... almost.

I hear it's quite good.... Hull down T30 is unbeatable pretty much..... And that 155mm gun is one mean smack.....

If you are familiar with the T 34 it is the same tank with 2 exceptions. A Camo rating that lets it hide and a gun that can do 750 dmg.

If you can get hull downs or ridge poke you can just get in the faces of an enemy team. They tend to scatter quick because if they are trading 250 or 400 and taking 750 in return they are getting the hell out of there as soon as possible.

It's less derpy than old but will still troll you if you don't let it fully aim down before firing. It's more or less a heavy tank with decent camo instead of a meh td with meh camo. You can post up in the normal td spots if the map is hull down friendly but mostly you will play second line support behind the brawling heavies using them as shields for your butter hull.

The e4 would be great again if they returned its turret armour to its launch state and gave it some more gun depression. As it is now you have to expose far too much to shoot and those fat chubby cheeks are an easy pen for everything it faces even against ap.

Still good, but the turret isn't as strong as it used to be. I still play it like a heavy.

I hated my T30. The first line of tanks I ground down were American TDs. When I first got my T30, I found the grind for unlocking all of it's gear to be a bit overwhelming. I was still a "noob" then mind you.....and once I finally did "pimp" out my T30, I had my heart set on unlocking the tier X T110. I never did master the T30. Now then....after actually improving somewhat on my game play, and getting a feel for the game, I may go back, and resurrect the old girl.

its got some of the worst soft stats in game for bloom on movement, but other than that, its a T29 in tier 10 battles.

A t29 with a tier 10 gun. I also think they stealth buffed the roof as it doesn't seem to get overmatched nearly as much as before.

Which is why I said stealth buffed. I'm not getting penned by the big guns on the roof nearly as much as before. Now its fairly rare when I used to count on it happening at least two or three times when leveraging a hull down position. Kinda like with the chrysler k's lower plate. One day its almost as stout as the upper then log on the next and its butter.

its literally not possible to "stealth" buff a tank in the game. the API sends out the data of tanks. IE we know for a fact nothing at all changed.

Other then you need to play it like a heavy since the gun handling is kinda meh.  It's a great t9 high alpha td, just remember don't try to snipe with it.

Do not use Free XP to unlock it. Just continue your grind. You will want to use Free XP to unlock modules. On the T30, that means Tracks, Engine, Radio, two guns.

Do you like having a turret?

Do you like 750 alpha?

Do you like applying 750 alpha to people's faces?

Do you want the opportunity to apply 750 alpha to Tier VIIs?

Answering these questions should help orient your thinking.

thats soo slow that you can be caroused by slow mediums.

because if you try to do it from range, you will likely miss... hell, in their face you will still miss.

i dont really see being a seal clubber as an "opportunity", more of a degenerate personality trait.

Answering these questions should help orient your thinking.

seriously. its a bad tank. but since its a TD with good gun angling (depression, turret) it pays a steep price in playablity.

Come on Hurk; have a sense of humor. Geez. This forum really has gotten stale. And a degenerate personality trait? Really?

I very highly doubt you can classify playing a Tier IX, which happen to see Tier VIIs, as "seal clubbing." Then again, if playing Tier IX is seal clubbing now, how do you explaining having 8,529 battles at Tier V, 4,131 at Tier IV, 3,471 at Tier III, and 1,126 at Tier II?

You must be quite the "degenerate," by your own defenition.

Whatever. I've been accused of seal clubbing at Tier X, so there's that.

i specifically mean, playing a tank for the experience of wrecking low tier tanks in the battle. like people that used to  play KV2s just because they could one shot tier 4s.
