Which should i buy? Got a small bonus for helping a friend, patriot or t34 is the one to buy? ive looked at both but cant decide.  I can fit either style, but the credit potiential of the patriot is leading the purchase.

T26E5, it's got mobility, good pen, strong turret, and a great rate of fire.   The T34 is powercrept and needs attention.

You're better off with the Patriot. It's a great all-rounder and capable in more situations. The T34 is more like a TD than a heavy, and in most cases it's best just to buy an actual TD over the T34, unless you're determined to have good hull-down capabilities. As Tsavo said, it's powercrept.

T34 has arty like aim time and soft stats on the gun, plus horrible DPM.  I'd advise against it.

T26E5 is going to be a much better tank. The Lowe is just a better version of the T34 for pretty much all battle situations. T26E5 is better if you want a more flexible style of gameplay, Lowe will be better if you want to better dominant the hull-down and side-scraping positions, while sacrificing your mobility and DPM.

Depends what you're looking for, the T34 is a beast in Frontlines as it makes short work of Defender and T32 upper plate - T26E5 is a more reliable all-arounder.

Much better gun handling and armor profile, better at pushing than the T34 which is very strictly a support vehicle due to the poor gun handling and squishy hull armor.

You'll probably get more mileage out of the T26E5 all-around.

Don't get me wrong. The T34 is a decent tank but as stated above it does need some love. It's slow, ok gun handling for medium to close range but a terrible reload for the alpha in todays game. Everyone talks about how strong the turret is but the roof is easily overmatched and penned but in the right hands it's still decent.

but like everyone says go for the T26. a much easier tank to play and good all around. Better turret and hull armor.

T34 is basically a t30 in tier 8 i preffer the pen/alpha it has and the turret armor is also good. Between lowe and t34 t34 wins, now beteen t34 and the patriot. T3r wims due to pen

I feel like in todays meta the lowe is better with all the buffs it has received. The lowe basically has the same mobility, better all around armor, the gun is just as reliable do to it's accuracy with only about 10 less pen, and statically the lowe out performs the T34.

Looking at Vbaddic the lowe only fails in average penetration. I looked at your stats and mine as well and you play the lowe and T34 equally as well. Basically the same in my account. They perform the same.

T26E5.  I have both that and T34, T34 gun bloom is so bad it's hard to aim at weak spots effectively unless you just sit there for 10 seconds.  Go for the T26E5.  It's more mobile, good pen gun, and APCR as standard.  Only downside to that is I've noticed the APCR rounds will just bounce/absorb into tank tracks a good bit.

The only thing lowe outperforms t34 is armor and accuracy. You are looking at them from the same tier point of view. But lets be real. 99% of the times you will see tier 10 and what is worse. To easily dodge HEAT  shells with a t34 mobility and give back with its great pen/alpha. OR painfully drive backward slowly while all the HEAT shells hit you penetrate and damage you for half your hp (yes. Even if you are angled or only show your turret)  while your patethic alpha/pen just barely  tickles those OP tier 10 armors if they even pen to begin with. Dont take me wrong. Lowe in tier 9 is good and in tier 8 is god. in a 1v1 t34 VS lowe. Lowe wins 99% of the times but lets be real. You rarely see any same tier battle. Thats why t34 is better.

Perhaps it's just personal preference, but all this tank made me want to play my T34B. I 3 marked the T34 and plan to 3 mark the T34b but this game has an example of why the T34 erks me some times.

Spoiler

no... just... no

no one has issues penning the T32 upper plate. its only ~197 effective. even the crappy tier 8 preferential tanks with only 186 pen have a ~46% chance to pen it.

not to mention the glacial reload time, and horrible movement soft stats.

T26E5. No question. It can do just about everything. People toss "OP" around a lot, but it's actually true in this case. The alpha and pen are not the highest, but the gun handling and ROF make up for it.

That being said, if you can get the T34 cheap, it's still a good tank--just more situational. If you're hull-down and have time to aim, that gun can pen just about anything you'll meet (*with premium rounds). It's been buffed a few times, but could still use a little love. It's a solid tank, but it's not going to carry the way a Patriot can.
