So I thought I would try it out for a week. I may not come back to the NA server. I saw 91K people on the EU server earlier. It was a dream barely any queue time, and not nearly as much griping in chat like there is on the NA server. But yea I have really enjoyed playing this week...just wished Wargaming would open up the servers.

i have also played EU, and just took a foray into the SEA for some racing, would be nice if we didnt have to download the "same" game multiple times.

I started an EU account some time ago.  I've been considering checking it out due to the higher population.  I've been told that the 3/5/7 Template is better over there since there are more players.  Wouldn't mind checking it out for myself.

In an alternate universe where this is no NA server, everybody's complaining that Wargaming won't start one.

Those of you that have ventured this path with higher battle counts.  How do you feel about the lost progress with making that switch?

I run Aslain's modpak and it has a mod for multiple regions.

i have an EU account....but less than 500 matches on it.i have it so i can play a Pz 1c...stopped playing it here due to physics and MM. on EU i actually get in tier 3 matches....but my crew is lacking. ( my NA crew has(d) 6 skills. now they sit in luchs but get played in black bulldog.  and since i play early AM here, its primetime there, queues are large , helps the MM (repeating this) however i have only spent 10 bux there for gold (demounting ) , hoping someday for the eventual server merge as game pop contracts.

i want my NA tanks to be playable on EU withOUT starting over!

I would play on EU if i could transfer my account. I have to much time/money invested on NA to just abandon it.

While I personally would like to see the opportunity to play with a larger population, I suspect there are many that may not be able to adjust to the increase in ping that would accompany playing on a server located across the pond.

I'm in Western Canada (Calgary), and it was a blessing for me when they went to a central server (vs. West and East), and many peeps likely don't have the luxury of cable or fiber optic ISP.  I currently have to go through a cell hub (live in the country), with ping values currently at 75-95ms. I suspect (haven't tried thought) that my ping would be in the 200ms range to the EU server, similar to the SA server...…..so I'd probably have to say sayonara to a game I've enjoyed (or play a lot of arty :amazed:).

Ditto. 5 years of time on NA I'd rather not throw that away.

I'm currently living outside the continental US, so my ping sits between 200-300. It's actually quite playable. Annoying at times, but playable.

I live close enough to the coast to enjoy decent ping to the ru servers and play there mostly. Much higher player base and special modes work as intended. The eu server is better for understanding the chat but not as good for general game play. The glut of bads on the na server is more due to the console mentality that has crept into gaming this last decade dumbing things down over and over to appeal to the broadest base possible even if some of that base should never play competitive games. This is the dark side of a first world standard of living. The young become spoiled on the luxury and ease and start to regress.

I live in the SouthEastern part of the US and my ping on the EU1 server is 125. And I have just DSL internet playing on a potato computer. It's very playable for me. But I don't have the "nicer" graphics I run on minimum settings. I don't care what it looks like just as long as I can play.

RU is pretty fun. 200k players most any time of the day.

I actually decided to download the EU client yesterday and play my EU account for a bit.  When I got the account a few years ago, I went ahead and acquired an IS-6.  I played 25 games yesterday, all but 1 in the IS-6.  The 3/5/7 didn't seem as rough as it is on the NA Central Server.  I got probably 1/2 my games as top tier with a few with all Tier VIIIs.

I did the beginner's missions to get a token for a Tier VI tank (I chose the Polish MT).

It wasn't bad at all.  Definitely gave me a better opportunity, albeit 25 games is a very small sample size to measure.

For Yesterday on EU:

WR: 64%

WN8: 1848

Average ping rate was about 150ms, I dropped my graphics settings to medium which gave me an average of about 100fps.

Which I've not been able to do on the NA for the last 1,000 battles...at all.  I hit maybe like a 51% with a 1500 WN8 as spikes.  But my recents on NA are severely tanked.  NPI.
