So I stumbled across this replay today. Weird server glitch or do you guys think there was some sort of hack involved? It almost seems too good to be true for 29 people to all disconnect at once, but I wouldn't think they'd come back if it was a legit hack.

Did you watch it? From the comments it looks like the other team did disconnect.

YouTube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3O1CTMTZ3M so you don't have to download the replay.

I'd love to see how anyone could possibly disconnect everyone, let alone even effect the server in any way like that. So much tinfoil...

Shove your tinfoil accusations up your butt. I don’t know that much about how servers and networks work, and that situation seemed almost too good to be true. It’s most likely a server error, but you’d think it would have happened several times that day if they’d broke the servers.

Yeaah. Last week we had that night where the server crashed for most players. Two guys I was watching that were streaming crashed at the same time.

It happen a couple years ago and a guy on a Patton (unsure the tier) had a 20k dmg game iirc.

Use some common sense instead of immediately jumping top hackusations then.

Disconnects can and do happen.  It has happened before in game, I was in a game where about half disconnected and scrambled to get back in.  It happens.  Tis the nature of servers and the internet.  To enable someone to access the server, single out players then disconnect them from the server is not really possible.

well said, not all things that happen in WOT can be inferred as hacks...mostly lack of knowledge in the game and how a server based game functions.

1: Server has hiccup.

2: Everyone crashes.

3: Some people are instantly able to get in the game.

4: Some take longer to get back in the game.

5: The ones that make up back early get to feed on a feast prepared on a silver platter.

6: ???

I'm going to go with a "NO" no hack involved...just a lot of bad luck for some.

With respect, why would anyone even think of hacks when something like this is happening?  It's very clearly a server fail.

Edit:  As harsh as it sounds, I agree with others who say to use some common sense before making a thread talking about this possibly being a hack.  All threads like this do are reinforce those who think people hack to beat them.  If you truly think a hack is used, send a replay to WG, don't come on here with a crazy replay and give fuel to all the "hackusation" experts out there.   If you look, someone is already  claiming they lost a tourney the other day because of a "hack" similar to your video.  So your thread will only reinforce those people.

Was in a game last year where this happened and a guy on the nondisonnected team got 14 kills. Some guy killed one so he couldn't get them all.

Use some common reading skills instead of immediately assuming I’m accusing him of hacks. Both sentences in my OP ask either/or questions trying to get others’ opinions. I’ve never seen the servers do something like this, but software that could do it intentionally is probably just as rare, so I figured I’d share it. Glad to see I’m getting more accusations of tinfoil than interesting discussion (although idk why this is surprising).

It happens. The servers don't usually hard crash but when they do, this stuff tends to happen. The 19th was around the time the servers had an hard crash.

So... You asked for an explanation; there it is. November 18th on NA server https://clips.twitch...icTruffleDuDudu I heard that EU had a hard crash around the same time. I believe WoTExpress posted about it

OK let me put it this way, only an idiot would even think it was a hack, who do you think we're playing against? Ethan Hunt?
