Skins a technical problem?

Since the new updates the skins are being restricted ?, every time there is a "update" the skins become more obsolete, I can not have them because the game crashes, I only have skins, no other modification of the game, how can Is it possible that only ".dds" files can cause failures in the game client? Apart from that my own skins are shown well in the garage, but inside the battle it is all badly arranged, I demand an explanation about it.

i think some of the skins have a closeup and distance look, one of the modders like JLdragon does a lot of it.  Search for his posts, there is alot of cool stuff he does.

No, that happening on every game "update", or the tank appears invisible or the texture loads wrong...
