I made my account in 2013 when I was 10. Obviously, I didn't understand how to play these kind of games that much. I played only this game for a bit, getting in around 3500 battles, before taking a 5 year break where I would occasionally start playing again for a month or less. My WR is AWFUL, my stats are awful, I'm the most red tomato there can be, and I've got almost 4k battles. I just started playing again, and I've definitely improved, but I do bad plenty of times. Is there any way not to get yelled at for being the only tomato in some games? Or will I always be a tomato?

Turn off in game chat and no one will give you a hard time while you improve.  4k battles isn't the end of the world depending how much you play and what you're looking to do.  Unless you're looking to be in a top top clan or something most people will end up looking at more recent data, or tier 10 data, etc.  I think I was around 800-1k win8 around 3-4k battles myself.

I forget how many thousands of battles it took for me to not be the 1st killed on my team.

Now I might be the 3rd or 4th taken out.

Don't waste your time worrying about all the anger you're going to get.   They can't hurt you unless you let them.    What's the worst you're going to get angry PMs you don't have to respond to and getting placed on some dude's blacklist that you'll never have any knowledge of?   Just keep grinding and you'll be fine.   That is until the game play breaks you because it's so up and down from game to game.

You'll always be a tomato if you ALLOW yourself to be one... Allow yourself to improve and you will, but it won't be overnight.

Mean people love it when they get your attention, so just ignore them.  Don't worry about your stats too much. Millions of people have fun playing baseball who never make it to the major leagues. Don't let trolls define your self image, they are poison.  Normal adults respect each other and understand that we all have different skill levels and learning curves.  If you like this game you are more than welcome here. Don't let some booger eating troll run you off.

There are many clans that will mentor new people, H-Hour is just one that is always advertising here. If you really want to hone those skills try knocking on their door.

You have all the time in the world to improve your game when at 4K battles.

I have 44K battles and it is virtually impossible to improve over all those games and luckily almost impossible for me to slide too much.

I had the same case in blitz... your stats might never fully recover, but that doesnt mean you cant be a unicum

Seargent, just do the best you can in every single battle, in a game like this, with the random battles, the only thing that matters, is how you did in the last battle and if you did your best.

I've seen great players do awful and bad players save the battle.

Just do your best and play without chat if you want, i do sometimes.

on a good note, many people target the purple players first and dont think a tomato is a high priority target, you got the stealth mode going for you until you improve the stats, enjoy being underestimated

I was a giggabad 45%er at 5k, it takes time.   You'll get there.

If you really want to get better, then you'll have to just play the game. Watch guides on youtube on "how to be a unicum" if you have the time. Watch videos made by highly skilled players like LemmingRush. You're not "bad" by any means, you just haven't played the game enough to be really good. If you really want to get good at the game then you need to invest time playing and watching other people play, so you can see what works and what doesn't. Find tanks that you enjoy and do well in. In all honesty, your stats are better than mine were at 4k battles. I think I had about 400-500 wn8 and about 45% wins.

I have a NA account that is in the Deep Red on almost every tank. That was before I figured out what I was doing. I only started playing again on the EU side because of a bigger player base and am in the Green with w Wn8

I just started back on NA this week because it has the free E25 that was given out way back when.

I am now gonna start again on the account, not a re roll, and start with buying T1 tanks and improve them outta the Red one at a time :) now I have a better idea of what to do :)

I was a complete and utter noob my first 5k battles and you’re at less than 4K.  No worries at all.  Just keep trying to get better and your stats will follow.  As mentioned above, you’ve got XVM camouflage right now.  You will be continuously underrated.  Enjoy that while you can. Watch some videos from good players and get better that way too if you really want to do well.

Keep playing in your current account as you  continue to improve.  If stats are that important to you down the road, then reroll it when your consistently purple.  Until then, have fun and enjoy.

Nah... at 8k games I had like a .78 kill/damage ratio over time I learned the game and improved a lot just takes time

Hi OP, quick tips that can help you. enjoy this game more:

1...try to do as much damage as your tank HP every battle

2...your survival is at 12% meaning you may rush too far too fast and die too early, slow down and it will help you with #1 also

3...youtube youtube youtube

4...play the tank you like most in the tier 5 or 6 range until you can get a crew with 2 or 3 skills; it may take a couple of hundreds of game its allright

(USSR heavies and mediums are always a good choice as they usually are very forgiving)

5...chat: I'd say leave it open as some info can be useful, just ignore the haters. And if they PM insults after the battle you just reply with a smiley, works everytime.

6...on the minimap you have lines that indicates max view range etc etc etc , VERY useful, always keep an eyes on those

7...anyone in your clan can help you, platoon and such ? if not consider changing clan

and so on ...

My motto is always: "The faster you rush, the faster you die" , in my case anyway.

Good luck !

With 4k games it will be easy to raise your stats. Mine are basically stuck where they are.

Turn off chat (it helps) or use the mute feature as needed, It improved my attitude quit a bit :great:.   You won't always be a "tomato", stats will improve as you learn the game.  But, it's going to take quite a few games to get there.  If you enjoy the game...just play the game.
