Greetings,

Here is an article to help with navigating the Advent calendar missions.

For some helpful instructions without pictures check out the steps below. If you would like pictures to go along with then click on the "article" listed above.

If you start the game and the "ADVENT CALENDAR" window does not appear:

1) When you start the game, and if the "ADVENT CALENDAR" window does not appear, go to "STORE" near near the top of the client:

2) At the "IT'S SHOPPING TIME" panel, click "To calendar:"

3) At the "ADVENT CALENDAR" window, click "Mission of the day" — when you do, it changes to "Mission accepted." Close the window:

4) Go to "MISSIONS" near near the top of the client. At the missions menu, scroll down to "Other Missions." Click on the daily Advent Calendar mission to see the restrictions and conditions:

As long as you click "Mission of the day" in the "ADVENT CALENDAR" window so it changes to "Mission accepted," you can see the mission parameters and are good to do.

LOL, that isn't complex at all. Wouldn't it be nice if it was "Working as intended"... where have I heard that before

I wonder if these guys will think about selling the IS-3A for once? It would be nice considering I have a crew for it and no tank for them to get into! HINT, HINT!

After doing the math on the first 5 days of the advent calendar, the purchases in game for gold are only really worth it financially if you need the crew and garage slot.  However many of us buy garage slots when they are on sale and have extras.  Also, most players already have crews from the same nation and tank type that we are buying the premium tanks for.

For example, today's deal of the Type 62 for 5100 Gold.  The tank is valued at 4800 gold.  The garage slot is 300 gold.  The crew members are 800 gold.

Type 62 + Garage Slot + Crew = 5900 Gold

4800+300+800 = 5900

Type 62 + Garage Slot = 5100 Gold

4800 + 300 = 5100

The bundles are worth it financially if you need the crew and garage slot.  Even if you don't need the crew and garage slot, most of them are still worth it financially.

Type 62 + Premium TIme + 1500 Gold.

4800 + 2500 + 1500 = 8800 gold

8800 gold at the purchase any amount is $39.16.  8800 gold from the The bundle is $32.27.  8800 gold when you buy the 25,000 gold package int he premium shop is valued at $35.20.  So either way the bundle is still worth it if you don't need the crew and garage slot.

I'm not saying don't buy the tank.  I'm just saying the buy the tank in game for gold isn't a discount for many of us.  For some players paying extra is worth it if its a rare tank or one that is only sold a couple times a year.  Its also nice to buy a gift for yourself or someone else.

Can someone confirm that this is a 100% Crew and not the 0 Skill Crew?

Did the Tiger 131 actually have a 0 Skill BIA Crew?

I can CONFIRM that the 131 crew has BIA, i know of no way to CONFIRM that they are zero-skill BIA.

The Type 62 is not offered with a BIA crew, merely a 100% crew

"Can anyone guess what will these guys sell in the rest of this advent? "

there is a rumor that tomorrow will be a year of premium time ( discount not known)

and the 7th will be the Sherman Thunderbolt.

the rumor has been right 3 days out of 3 so far.

EDIT:

and rumormonger is wrong on the 7th, no Thunderbolt, but a Somua SM

When i click on the store I get "Data temporarily unavailable"

I want to buy the french samoa with in game gold.

YES cef_browser_process.exe has full internet access.

I filed a support ticket with screenshot.

The intent is obvious.

by offering crews they are getting people who don’t need premium tanks incentives to buy them

Still waiting on the IS 3A! Come on guys, I know it's not that hard to throw up that tank on the shelf! Tomorrow's tank is what? M41 90 or Kannonpanzer! There is only very few tanks that I don't have and I am sure that a lot of people already have these tanks already. If your going to make this advent interesting and make some sales, You really got to put up tanks that haven't seen the light of day!

This whole Advent calendar thing...the concept of an Advent calendar is a means to "count" the days until Christmas by opening "days" on the calenar to reveal little treats or gifts. Trinkets you could say.

This year the WoT Advent is a VERY thinly reworked re-hash for sales that basically happen all year long anyway.

I think WG has entirely missed the point here.

I have had the IS-3A for a long time and I am really looking forward to trying out the autoreloader when it hits the live server. I haven’t played it since I was able to purchase the Defender, excited about this new gun making the IS-3A special in WOT.

I get that and don't mind if some of it is, but i don't recall that ALL of it was..just re-hashing of prior sales.

The highlight of last year's advent calendar, at least for me, was the E25.  It was an interesting tank I had never seen offered before and I jumped at the chance to buy it. I can't think of any equivalent tank WG might offer this year, besides the OBJ 907.

That goes against the point of a premium tank training your crews for the same nation.

If ye old lads controlling the AventCalendar try to sell the IS-3A sell the tank 12% more it was originally sold, make sure to sell as a bundle, don't include 100% crew, be sure the tank is bundled with gold amount around 4k gold and increase the price accordingly.
Unless it's not planned to be sold then all I can say is all IS-3A owners have finally made a investment that can properly play in randoms?

is it me, or am i the only one who things the guys behind the whole mission layout should be let go.

its unnecessarily complicated.

i mean the peeps in NA play on a computer with more then 600x800,  so the mission UI has Soooooooo much dead space surrounding it, and we have all theese necessary windows, and things you have to "click" on for further information.

can we have at least the option (selected in options) to have an "iconless" mission tab. something where all the information is available with just scrolling through.

the fact that missions are all over the place in the garage, is not only messy, but leads to goofy stuff like this thread. "its not working, but you can back door it because we have designed the game to get 4 ways to sunday"

or is it just me?

This advent calendar is lame.  They just sold all this same crap a month ago for better deals.  How about something original/different?????

Your game and "sales" are stale.  You desperately need an update.

If you didn't receive the menu upon logging in you can find the mission in the "other missions" tab down at the bottom of the screen.

AmazonPay is down indefinitely due to an issue with our payment partner,  if you are looking to make a purchase soon it would be best to seek another payment option.

Maybe YOU should be finding a different payment partner.

Just how else were you selling these on Amazon in the past?
