Still don't know if we'll be screwed out of tier 10 tank (only available through the refer a friend program) if the recruit hasn't reached tier 10 by Feb 5th. Or like others have asked, will we simply no longer be able to recruit others after Feb 5th, but we can still chug away at the platooning with the recruit and eventually get the tier 10 reward tank?

Whats the plan WG?

Hate to break it to you, but the T95E2 isn't a Tier 10 tank.  It's a tier 8 tank.

Does anyone remember there being fine print stating an expiry date for the referral program?

If not, wouldn't it make sense for WG to just stop new players from signing up under the old program, while allowing the existing contracts to remain in perpetuity?

Why stir up a huge firestorm when you can simply grandfather people in? Or at least give them the option?

This is an example of why project management courses always talk about having a Communications Plan.  You need to keep all stakeholders (including customers) informed of what is going on, even if the news is "Still working out details".  If plans were still in too much flux to give any details, then it may have been better to say nothing at all.  That might mean that you have to delay implementation a couple extra months to give players a chance to finish off their old referrals once you decided on your plan of action.  Uncertainty and confusion is not a desirable state in any development program..

Agreed. Maybe WG figures most are more uneducated people that don't have higher level education to realize stuff like this.

Then again people with higher level education often have more discretionary income to blow on video games.
