...the eventual win or loss still affects their winrate?

Don’t like the fact others can influence if you win a match or not, than stick with single player games.

If you could leave a battle and not have it affect your winrate, I'd be at 99.9%

Just saying...

Yes, it happens, with some regularity.  There are even a few folks that come onto these very forums and essentially claim that their time is too valuable to 'waste' on a losing game and exit before the battle really starts, based on XVM's chance to win.  They claim that they earn more Credits and XP per hour by 'choosing' which games to play or not and that they have more fun this way.

Of course, they're effing morons, but due to them being effing morons, you will never convince them to look at the difference they would get, because they then claim that all you're attempting to do is convince them to stay in a losing game so YOU can pad YOUR stats.  Effing morons.  What're you gonna do?

And yes, it affects their WR and it affects their overall stats and it affects their overall Earnings in credits and XP, but, because they're effing morons you cannot possibly show them this with actual numbers, convincement or even a decent dressing down of how incredibly stupid they are -- because they're effing morons and you cannot reason with them.

Yes, it does happen.  You have to learn to recognize that they're just effing morons and move forwards as best you can.

Hope that helps explain it and reduce any angst, anger or anxiety they may be causing you.  You just have to move on, they have no clue and no wish to be clued in.  They think they have a 'pretty good bead' on how things work and there's no changing what little mind they have.

Lets put it this way, it doesn't help it.

as soon as I see a bunch of idiots go and suicide or play like a complete idiot after they have played the game over 10k battles, i myself will not give a damn about winning.. why should i go the extra mile to give 5-6 jacka33e3 a chance at a win.. I don't care about all the stats crap any longer as its pretty much irrelevant for the most part.

Depends which team the quitting player is on.

And as long as you are not a ‘quitter’, then it’s more likely they will be on the red team. 14 possible players verses 15.

I don’t play for or care about other’s winning, my performance is not “to give 5-6 jacka33e3 a chance at a win.” Regardless if ‘jacka33e3’ quit or not.

But there is xp, credits and fun to be had, even in a ‘certain’ loss.

Some of my funnest moments playing WoT, were during those ‘certain’ losses. Nothing better then giving for more than you take, in those ‘certain’ losses. And on very rare occasions, my performance might turn it into a win. Which are my most satisfying matches.

I hate it when players announce the game is unwinnable and then either leave the battle, suicide or stay and play badly and whine the whole match.

The proper term is:  Re-Troll.

They are a Re-Roll in game, and a Re-Troll in forum:facepalm:

IIRC, the game will warn you about leaving your mates....calls it Treason.  You get warned and everything, even suspended if you do it enough now, right ????
