should I go for the RhmPzw?

I have ~80k more xp to go, 15 million credits, and I don't really plan on grinding any other trees any time soon. I've been holding off ever since the tier 10 LTs were introduced.  I see maybe one Rhm every 100 battles, so that's a good indication of what most players think of it, but I have stuck with lots of turds in the german tech tree before, so am accustomed to playing sub par tanks.

So, how much of a turd is it?  Can I get away with the same kind of game I play in the RU?

I do a mix of passive and active scouting, leaning more toward the passive.  I find the mario go cart style of scouting to be very cheesy.   I'm not the best in knife fights, so try to pick my fights wisely.

nice game in your obj430 last night, btw.  I did get you a couple of times in my RU however.  I like the spotting ability of the RU.

Is it the tank, or LT's at tier 10 in general?  I don't see many of them performing well according to the server statistics.

I currently have a rhm. I grinded it with the full intention of using it only for runners and chasers in training rooms lol. It does that job pretty well, crushes those pesky pz 1cs.

As far as actual battles go, there are far better alternatives. You like spotting stuff? T100. You like light medium play style? WZ 132-1 or amx. RHM is kind of in the middle, not particularly good at either.

Its main advantage is its speed and gun depression, which IMO isnt a good trade for its negatives like giant size and meh gun.

You can see its averaged battle stats like wn8 and win rates. Its the lowest for all T10 lights. Honestly not worth it if you're using it for actual battles.

The Wz 132-1 actually has the highest wn8 average for all T10s (tbh, i dont understand why, I rarely see these in battle. I like my but they dont seem that popular) outside of rewards tanks. the AMX isnt falling too far behind.

They do have lower average win rates due to what Im assuming is their lower ability to carry.

I don’t see them very often either tbh. It’s just that there are so many other more appropriate tier 10 scouts out there that do it better with fewer drawbacks. Grinding to tier 10 really is an investment of your time and effort, and I think many see the RHM in that light don’t feel it’s worth the grind. Plus look at the process of getting to the RHM. I’m sure many get to the SP1C and just throw in the towel realizing the HWK is just more of the same “meh”. I really am interested to see what others who own one have to say about it.

For me when I played it on my friend's account, it was not good. 320 alpha at tier 10? It is the same damage as the IKV 103 stock gun. It's pen is depressing and I had to span prem for the whole game. It has really good view range (technically the best in game) though so use it mostly for scouting. If you have to use your fast speeds for 'circle of death' and that's all. I feel this tank is too team reliable and it is really over dependent on heavy tanks to do the damage. Finally, the gun is presumable 'large' which is think is BS and it get to damaged too often. The armour is also not good at all. Don't expect to bounce any shells.

Can't tell you about the tank. But, I suggest holding off on buying ANY tech tree tank.

Save your credits, for now, and, provided you reach high enough "festive" level, you can possibly get that tank at a discount.

The speed and the HEP rounds are interesting. Overall, I think it's a fun tank. Not a good tank though. Possibly the worst tier X LT. The concept of a snipey LT just doesn't make sense.

Here are the win rate curves for tier 10 LTs.  I hate to go by server win rates, because it doesn't account for the skill of the players driving them.  They all look underwhelming.  Only the amx and T100 look relatively decent.  More good players drive them.  The Rhm still is the worst, but not as much as the server win rates would indicate.  Its extremely low server rates are partially due to the less skilled drivers (not many above 55% drive them)

This all depends on how much you enjoy playing the Ru because the end game isn't always to get to Tier 10. I recently just purchased the Ru and I'm loving it and I don't think I'm going to get the Rhm ,Pzw. I'm not normally a light tank player because I've always been terrible at them, however the Ru has become one of my favorite tanks in just under 400 games.

It's worth grinding that line for the RU -- it's a keeper.  It's one of the most well-rounded lights in the game, and you will probably love it.

The concept of a snipey LT would make sense if it were actually good at sniping. For a tier 10 to have .35 base spread, 2.2k base DPM, and 242 stock pen (with abnormally high penalties at range) is no sniper.

I agree with NO!!!

I enjoy light tanks and this is the worst light tank I have ever played.  the RU 251 is all around a better tank everything about the rhm is worse.

I sold my RU 251 to buy the RHM pzw and have regretted it ever since. I tried to give it a chance and after 100+ battles have concluded it is a very bad tank.

I'm not a great player by any means but when a tier 10 tank is worse than a tier 8 of same class something is for sure wrong.

i am not saying no implying the devileper's did not make a well balanced tank for its tier..

but I can say that it has not been good to me.

I believe the gun stats are not at all what is stated half the shots full aimed do not even hit in reticule. and as for average of 320 damage I have never rolled more than 314 the   avg is 271.. that is from my spreadsheet of 100 battles.

I have decided to play 1k straight battles in the rhm pzw. to become a better player  because I am certain wargaming did not release a tank as bad as this seems. I am sure I am just bad like everyone tells me. therefore I will continue onward  if I can bear it without uninstalling this game again.

It had the worst winrate in the game, but the new British lights are challenging it for that title even as we speak.

It's a terrible tank.  I'd much much rather be playing my RU-251.  I'm still bummed that I spent any time grinding to get it.  The Russian X LT is better, but even that is just so-so.
