​Hey folks! 13Disciple and I are doing a value analysis about the Christmas boxes. We announced our plans to gather data to estimate drop-rates from the boxes a few days ago, but now that the boxes are actually out, I'm making a second post as a reminder.

 

Please post your results in here, although if you post them in the old Thread, that's fine as well. (And a big thank you to everyone who posted their results so early in the other Thread before I even got a chance to make this one. )

 

As a quick reminder, you can provide the data in any of these ways:

• Screen capture (Record through Bandicam, then upload to YouTube)
• Screenshots (Just screenshot each opened box, then dump them into an Imgur album by selecting them all and dragging them onto the wegpage)
• Notepad / spreadsheet - You can just post the raw numbers, or create a Google Sheets page and share the link

One interesting thing that several people had brought up, and screenshots / videos seem to confirm this based off of initial observations, are that the secondary ornaments (After the guaranteed Level 5) you receive aren't actually random, with the vast majority of them being Level 1's, and the second most frequent ornament being Level 2.

 

I'll take a closer look into this and determine what the drop rates for the other ornaments were, but that's definitely something we had overlooked.

enough decorations to completely finish the set that gives you 50% crew XP(by far the best bonus) which I hope to put to good use since I have a much longer Xmas holiday this year.

 

Not nearly as much of a haul as last year, got way more credits than last year, less gold and way less premium tanks, got all of them last year except the Skorpion. Good deal on gold(about 50% more than just buying it) though I didn't really need it but it will get used since I always retrain crew for gold.

May I suggest starting another 'value' thread for people who bought boxes after a week has passed / after the next hotpatch? I remember some complaining last year that the first day purchasers got more than people who waited

I guess I pulled on the shorter end of things, slightly below average I would say considering its the first day of boxes. Nice to get all the low tiers and at least 1 tier 8 + all the other treats. A very nice Christmas indeed. 

-I had recorded it in Action but it hurt my soul to find out it crashed once I ended the recording... 12 minutes of good footage wasted.

We plan on updating our data as we continue to get results throughout the event, and we'll make sure our data is sorted by date.

sorry I was about 75% through counting everything and lost track...so I got pissed and didn't redo it but here is pretty close approximates with 1 $100 box

Did they make it towhere you can mix male/female crewmen with BIA/SIS all work?  Used to nullify if you mixed them.

They removed SIS some time ago, and replaced it with BIA.  Mixed gender crews are a go(which means I've basically been using females as commanders for the free 6th sense.
