Have a few tier 10s unlocked xp wise but have not bit the bullet and purchased them yet because I would like to save up more credits before doing so. Was just wondering what the best way to build of credits is? On a side note, how does one access those tank credit discounts you get from missions and such, I used a few of them a while ago and have some laying around now but I forgot  how to use em. Sorry for the dumb questions and thanks in advance for any help!

Tier 8 strongholds or tier 6 strongholds with premium tanks. The matches are quick and you can print credits. It gets even better when your clan pops clan credit boosters and you can make 100k a win if you get some damage in. Right now I am netting 160k - 220k profit in tier 8 strongholds at the moment with the credit multiplier and clan credit boost.

Side note* personal reserve credit boosters DO NOT WORK IN STRONGHOLDS.

Go to the snowflake at the top centre of the garage. Then select "Level *******" to the right.

This brings up the progress report for the 10 Stages.

Once you complete a stage you have released the discount for that level. Click on the tank and select the tank you want the discount on. It does not have to be researched so you may select tanks that you are grinding to. I selected all the tanks in a line I'm going to grind in the near future.

Tier 8 premium tanks make huge bank.  That is the best way.  Enhanced by premium time and/or personal reserves is even better.  A decent player can easily grind a million credits in a session.

If you are a "free to play" player, then tier 5/6 is usually seen as the most profitable.  Whatever you do best in, although I THINK damage dealers do better on credits than scouts and other forms of support.

Obviously you need to control spending (consumables and prammo) when grinding credits.

Per Dockmaster on the festive bonuses.

And for boosters/personal reserves there's a little blue circle with a plus sign and number of boosters (maxes at 99) that you can click to access the menu for them.

I think you can also activate them from their own page in the depot.

EDIT:

Also if you're a FTP player Roggg's advice is good.  vBAddict is still recovering from a cyber attack, but they are a good source for net and gross income of tanks.  Really handy for FTP players.  BDR used to be a solid top regular tech tree earner.  I doubt that's changed, but its' been a while since I've checked.

Premium time = credits, and xp on every tank.  For years I played with an annual premium account.  It expired back in September, and I didn't re-up.

That being said I spent my typical annual allotment on holiday ops loot boxes, which enabled me to get around 50 days of premium back, a bunch of credits, as well as the cheer/festivus level that adds 40% extra credits (I focused my decorations on free xp and combat xp).

all of the above combined with finishing the excalibur missions, and quite a few chimera missions has me sitting at a current balance of just shy of 44m credits

as for the discounts from holiday ops, in the garage, click on the roman numeral that shows your current festivus//collection bonus

you should see your tree decorations, now click on "Level Rewards"

from there, you can select which tanks to apply your discounts to.

Play a premium tier 8 tank, run credit boosters, do not shoot premium rounds.

here is a suggestion... do you have Amazon Prime? If you have Prime, you can get Twitch prime for free. If you link your twitch prime to your WoT account, you can get some fairly simple missions to receive mid tier premium tanks. The first one gave you a Churchill III and the current one gives you T14. They are not as good of credit grinders as t8 tanks but they are completely free and they still make premium credits

Also, if you have a few $$ to spend, loot boxes are a very good value for getting gold and you can buy a premium tank of a little higher tier/earning potential

but I really suggest the amazon/twitch prime way of getting free prems for free

here's the link to the current twitch mission/reward:

Already some good suggestions if you have money, but if you're on a free account (with or without premium time) I'd run tier 7's solo while using a credit booster.  7's would give you the better match-ups and solo would push you through battles quicker.
