4 years ago, I skipped across the Pond and started an EU account.

4X the number of players there.  I'm glad I made the move.

If anyone here would like to start a new EU account, I can help you find a clan that is OK with people starting out.

Once you are on EU, contact RedSnail, and I can assist you.

Or you can apply to [HAGIS] directly.

PS: I'm playing a bit on NA now after a 4 year's absence, and running into some nice folks here.

If they offered an account switch, I would consider it. It's a Russian game, and will never die or even have a lack of players there

TKS.  I am enjoying revisiting NA.  I really missed hearing the gentle southern accents.

I'll be looking around for a laid-back clan.

Got into a nice clan.  Just my kind of relaxed players.

Ran into another Yank in one of the Dinger clans on EU.

I've been playing on EU for a few months now. Totally worth it to start over given the huge increase in players, less battles on bottom for me it seems.

1) Experimented with a tier 1 battle midday.  2 minutes to get into battle on NA, 30 sec on EU.  This is not that bad.

2) At that time 8K players were on NA East.   80K players were on EU1.  Pretty significant.

To try out an EU account, you need to download the EU game into a different folder.

Do your own experiment and test it out for yourself.

I just realized that when you start a new account on EU, it will be a month before you can PM RedSnail.  So if you start an EU account, send a PM to DougInDeep here, and I can take care of things on the EU server.  Thanks.

In the central time zone here, what's the ping like on the EU server from here in NA.  Keep in mind I normally run 25-40 ping here.

I live in Boston and I get about 125ms ping, which works OK.

To setup an EU account, you have to download the EU WoT setup file and place it in a folder separate from your NA WoT program..

Its pretty easy.  And its fun to hang out with all the folks with different accents.

I think that it is worthwhile to at least try it and see if you like it.

You will be amazed at how quickly you progress now that you have a lot of experience.

Beware of the Poles, a lot of them are very, very good players.  :hiding:
