Earlier Today in my Defender, I encountered an O-I platoon. two of them trapped me in the far corner of the map, while all three of them were insulting players in chat. What do you do if you encounter trolls like this?

Just ignore. Game probably a bust but when will you see them again? Report them in game for all it's worth. It can be frustrating but hardly ever happens to me. Rarely have I gotten ticked enough that I out a hole in one.

Drop your mouse, fire up a blunt, pour yourself a nice glass of Bourbon, turn on some Pink Floyd and come back to the game in 15 minutes. Things will be better then.....

Try not to damage them untill one (hopefully all) turn blue. If he's blue, shoot till the end.

Send a ticket to WG and report them using in game system and ask team to do the same.

go do dishes, do laundry, refill the drink, get a snack, bio break, ....   its a game..  one round may take appx 10 minutes (plenty of time to do one or more of the suggested activities) .   Not worth getting worked up about.    The cool thing is, if someone reports you for AFK, that trolling will also be seen.

send the replay in, which will get them a strike for physics abuse on their accounts. Takes 6 "strikes" 1 warning, then 5 progressive "ban/punishments" 5th is perma gone.

Ummmm?!?!?! What!?!?! I thought you didn't report people because you "deal with them yourself" "like a man"

You do understand that people can see what you're saying in other threads right??

Supposedly WG takes physics abuse seriously, though I have no personal experience to verify that, so you should just send in the replay and move along.

I have seen a number of posts whining that they got a ban for such actions, so Wargaming seems to actually do something with the physics abuse tickets.  Good on them.  Turn the replay in with the names of the offenders and time stamp of when it happened and they’ll look at it.

You can use the tools provided.  If insults bother you, turn off chat.  If you wish to spend your time making a support ticket for "Physics Abuse", attaching a copy of the replay, describing the incident and the time it happens on the replay and sending it to Wargaming you may do so.

I usually just report and move on to another battle.  It is quite rare for anyone to hassle me in the game or garage.

Is that all you do is troll the forums?

How else do you handle in game griefers?

You can't shoot them or go blue or get suspended.

Yes, I report them because what they are doing affects the game play which is much different than somebody sending you an insulting PM AFTER the game.

I don't know about them taking it seriously, but I can tell you from experience they eventually do something about it. Their ban appeal deal is complete BS.

Oh, ok. I get it now. The tough guy act ends when there's more than just words being exchanged...

You rage at them and give them what they want, then you cry into your pillow at night remembering how they hurt you,

and ruined the game, you quit your job due to the pain, you fall into a deep depression for years,

and push everyone away, but a light of hope shines through the cracks in the walls one day as you meet a charming witty character,

with your new found strength you go out to get revenge, finding everything you can about them, tracking them down,

and one by one they fall on their knees as you ****** and ********* *******  ******** and ********* **** ** ** and ****** ** ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you finish, the police arrive, and you smile, and look up at the sky and you imagine how pleased shrek is, as the police detain you.

The police bring you in front of a great leader/individual, and they give you medals for your service, in a huge room with millions of people, and then everyone claps!!!!

you become unimaginably rich, not knowing what to spend it on you end up giving it all away to the anti game griefers charity.

But later A new griefer platoon showed up, he raged at them and give them what they wanted, then he cried into his pillow at night remembering how they hurt him (it repeats forever).
