this is kinda funny but awesome..
this is a greek band (which you probably know already) took a old traditional song (with a very deep meaning, about taboos from the period back when Greece was part of the Ottoman Empire..) and gave it rock sound without loosing its traditional signature.. i love it!!!
the title means "what wrong have i done the poor man?" this post i found gives a good explaination what its talking about..
(For those who are looking for the true meaning of this great song: The singing guy says that he is in love with the girl without knowing her name or ethnicity. At a time when Greece was a part of the Ottoman empire and villages where divided in separate neighborhoods (Greeks - Christians, Turkish – Muslims), mixed marriages were strictly forbidden and unacceptable. This folk song questions the taboos of that period not only for race and religion discrimination but also asks “Is it a crime to love someone with an ethnicity that is considered your worst enemy”.)
here comes its original version (one of many since they use to sing it in many villages..) in studio first and a second so you have an idea what would sound like when villagers themselfs were singing it in some event..
edit: by the way, "riza" the title of the album, means "root"
