By rules-that's gonna be hardcore competetion! I like it already!

sooo if i have top gun and i kill 5 tanks i have 10mvp, but if my other teammate  are shotted one of them i lose 4mvp so=6 mvp to me

This sounds interesting, but the instructions seem overly difficult and the examples are horrible......why were three examples with zero total MVP points provided?  Yet the top indicates that they had 9 total MVP points?

WTB one of these where you can use tier 9 medium tanks.

This is the contest that by having 1 MVP point you'll have a great chance to walk away with 10000G,lol.

Useful information regarding platoons

We are looking for players who will achieve the best results in “Platoon of 2” and “Platoon of 3” categories from now till 23.59 UTC (11.59pm UTC) of the 22th of September.

Contest Rules:

• - Every player, taking part in the contest, agrees to be bound by contest rules and guidelines;
  
• - If player for some reasons cannot submit battles for himself, he can ask another user to do it. Any complaints on the acts of the asked player won't be considered;
  
• - Platoon with the biggest amount of MVP points wins;
  
• - Platoon MVP points is a sum of MVP points of each platoon member;
  
• - MVP Points earning rules are specific for each category;
  
• - Players can submit up to 3 battle results for each category, each battle result must include the end battle window with opened 'Personal Achievements' tab screenshot and the garage with the end battle pop-up message screenshot of each player from platoon with the platoon window opened (see the example);
  
  Is this a Platoon contest or a player contest? Does each member of the Platoon need to submit his/her own entry or does 1 entry per Platoon regardless or who enters it count?
  
  
• - All screenshots for all 3 battle results for each category must be submitted in 1 (one) post. Fragmented entries over many posts will not be considered. You may submit 1 post for each category;
  
• - Battles can be performed on different vehicles and do not have to be in sequence, just submit the best battles during the allowed time;
  
• - The only change permitted to be implemented on screenshots is the concealment of gold, credits and free XP amount on the garage screenshot;
  
• - Player must calculate the amount of MVP points he has and post it in the top of the entry message. If no score is visible your entry will not be considered;
  
• - Training, company and clan wars battles won’t be considered;
  
• - To take a screenshot press Ctrl+PrtScr. If your keyboard does not have such keys, you are advised to use any free software. They all are saved in the general in-game folder;
  
• - All contest entries (battle results) are to be submitted before 23.59 UTC (11.59pm UTC) of the 22th of September;
  
• - The same platoon can win in more than one category, players are not required to be in the same platoon for different categories, but the battles for 1 particular category have to be done in one platoon with fixed membership.

Contest Categories
Players can participate in 2 different categories: ‘Platoon of 2’ and ‘Platoon of 3';

The ‘ Platoon of 2 ’ category has following rules for earning the points:

• Vehicles available for choosing. Players can choose any 2 vehicles from the list:
  
• Tier 5-7 Medium Tanks are allowed to be used;
  
• Tier 5-8 Tank Destroyers are allowed to be used;
  
• Tier 6-8 Heavy Tanks are allowed to be used;
  
• In order to participate, one battle platoon member has to receive 'Top Gun' achievement, while another - 'Confederate' achievement;
  
  Do the achievements have to be in the SAME match or can they be in different matches?
  
  
• Player with 'Top Gun' achievement MVP points earning details:
  
• Each damaged enemy counts as 1 MVP point;
  
• Each destroyed enemy counts as 2 MVP point (amount doubles if another platoon participant previously damaged the destroyed enemy);
  
• Each additional battle achievement ('Invader', 'Scout', 'Defender', 'Sniper') gives 5 MVP points;
  
• Player with 'Confederate' achievement MVP points earning details:
  
• Each damaged enemy counts as 2 MVP points;
  
• Each destroyed enemy counts as 1 MVP point;
  
• Each destroyed enemy tank, which was previously damaged by 'Top Gun' platoon participant counts as -4 MVP points
  
• Each additional battle achievement ('Invader', 'Scout', 'Defender', 'Sniper') gives 5 MVP points;

Prizes
Participant of winning platoon in each category will be awarded 10,000 Gold each, the second place will bring them 8,000 Gold for each and the third prize-holders will enjoy 5,000 Gold each. Also we will give 3,000 Gold for the 4th place and 1,500 Gold for the 5th to each participant of winning platoons.

I don't understand this at all, Are the achievement's required or are they designations of the players in the team for the required points?

I have but one question.  Can a person submit more that one entry.  For example, A is teamed with B forming AB and submits for that.  Can then A form with C and submit for AC?  Both being 2 seperate 2 man platoons?

It's because you can't be like

First A/B
Second A/C
Third A/D

This is the thing.  Nowhere does it say that I can't say team up with 3 different people for the platoon of 2.  I'm just curious because there isn't alot of people submitting scores for this one.

why wasn't the thread locked at the deadline?, i see a lot of results that are invalid because they where posted waaaay after the deadline.
any updates?, announcements?

Seems someone else has altered their platoon 3 entry as well since yesterday.

All I have to say on this issue is that the if the proper procedures are followed I have no complaints.  If there is special privilege given make sure that all teams are allowed the same thing.  
But for the record I am a person who expects no exceptions.  Those are the rules and too bad so sad.
