Hello, I have recently started playing world of tanks on my laptop. I used to play on WOTB. I have a few tanks that I have my eye on. Can you tell me if I should grind or if I should do a different line.

Tanks I want:

Jadgtiger

Tiger P

KV2

IS7

T95

SU14

Foch?

Chinese heavies?

Jap heavies

Tanks I dont like

Frenchie autoloaders

That bootleg french autoloader American heavy

The toaster

Most high tier light tanks

Thanks for reading. I really like this compared to the downhill slope of collector tanks and micro transactions that is WOTB. Thank you!

The Foch has an autoloader in WoT.  So if you don't want a French autoloading TD, don't get it.

KV-2 is still a lot of fun.

I'm not sure why you have SU14 listed because I thought Blitz did not have artillery.  As another option you could get the S-51 from the KV-2.

I am talking about I want to find what tank lines are good for this game. Not blitz, I would have posted on the biltz forum for that.

Is7/277 is an amazing line, I would get the IS7 1st as it is way more noob friendly

Howdy.  I, too, came from Blitz when Update 3.8 arrived and Minsk took over control of the game.  How a company could mess something up that badly is still beyond me.  Anyway, you're here now and this is the place to be.  Our NA staff is friendly and cares about the players, and the overall playerbase (RU & EU) keeps Wargaming RU from totally screwing the game over.  It's also nice that the head honcho, Senator_Ratbat, is a former Blitz player himself.

As far grinds go, you can't go wrong with the IS-7 or 277 path.  Also the Chinese heavy line, especially the 5A is a solid choice.  I, personally, would start there and figure the game out a bit.  It is vastly different that Blitz and it takes thousands of games to really understand it all.

Best of luck and be sure to hit me up here or in-game if you have any questions.  People here can attest, I like to talk :teethhappy:

The IS-7 line IS noob friendly and is a good way to introduce yourself to the mechanics in WOT that are different.  The American heavies are also not terrible lower tier.  The upper tier ones have been power crept unfortunately.

I will sing this from the rooftops until I'm blue in the face: the m48 Patton is an excellent tank and it has a lot of excellent tanks going up the line.

M4 Sherman with the Derp gun, T20, M46 Patton, and M48 Patton are all amazing vehicles if ridgeline play is up your alley.

Probably the worst advice a new player could get.  Maybe he's trolling you.

I agree with Domo-- the US mediums are all very comfortable to play and all play fairly similarly. Those are great mediums to start aiming for, and the M48 is a fantastic tank for pubs.
