Hello, I currently have a t-43 crew trained to 90% for their main qualifications, if i put these crew members in the tier 6 russian med Rudy, can i still earn exp towards their major qualification? Does this only apply to skills and perks or the major qualification of a crew member also? Basically, can i train a 90% T-43 crew to 100% using the Rudy?

Yes. Just make sure you do not retrain them for the Rudy. Just put them in there as is.

Crew training in premium tanks is very useful, unfortunately it took me a couple years and some patient explaining before I understood it well enough to take advantage of it. Since I have been playing since Beta, I have a lot of the annual gift tanks (which are good for crew training) plus a lot of premium tanks. Maybe if I go over the list and how they are used it will be of benefit to you:

American lights: My Premium/gift tanks are T1E6, T2 Light Tank, T7 Combat Car, M22 Locust. I used them to train the crew on my M24 Chaffee. None of the premium tanks have their own crews, I just move the Chaffee crew through them for the extra XP and training.

Same thing with the American medium line: My Premium/gift tanks are M4A2E4 Sherman, M4 Improved, Ram II, M4A3E8 Fury, T26E4 Super Pershing, M46 Patton KR. None of them have their own crew, they are used to train the crew from the M4 Sherman, which gets moved around from one to the other which gains XP and training bonuses.

Similar setups with the German, and Russian lines.

By using just one crew and cycling them through various gift/premium tanks, they accrue skills/perks a whole lot faster. But they always stay the same crew from a non-premium tank.

Hope this makes sense/helps.
