I have been getting MAD crash to desktops recently. Just about 20 minutes ago, I pressed batte as usual, and loaded in the team preview screen and the game suddenly just exits out, no warning, no error message... Okay... Open WoT back up, get to the same screen... Same thing, this happened CONSECUTIVELY about 6 - 7 for 5 minutes. This is terribly frustrating, this issue has plagued me for a while now and is not consistent in frequency. Some days it will happen, some days it won't.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times, I've repaired god knows how many times, changed from full screen to windowed, lowered my graphics, updated drivers and all that. the result is still the same..

- I do not run mods, I play vanilla.

- I am using an MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro

- Processor is an INTEL 7th GEN CORE i7-7700HQ

- Graphics card is an NVIDIA'S GEFORCE GTX 1060

What other programs and/or apps are you running at the same time?

Also, once logged in, go back and close the launcher process. Not that it should affect the game client, but eliminating anything that 'might' cause an issue could help.

Sounds like you have hardware failure of some kind. Power unit, graphics card, memory, anything.

Have you deleted the appdata folder for Wargaming? Sometimes that causes weird issues. Other than that, I will need more info:

Is it just the game thats crashing?

Any other game having issues?

Get a program like HWinfo64 (MUST BE THE 64 VERSION!!!!!), and check the temps of your CPU, GPU, and MOBO.... If its above 90 for more than 15 minutes, you have a over heat problem (anything above 80 is a problem)

Try to launch windows in safe mode (with networking), and run the game. Does it crash? If not, then some software on your PC is causing the issue. You'll need to find it (not easy, so contact support for a list of known conflicting programs).

What A/V do you use? Is it updated? Is the wot install folder, and Appdata folder whitelisted?

After you answer these, I can offer more....

Poke around in the event viewer and see if it identifies what the issue is.

All I ever run when I play is youtube on chrome for music, that's about it, and I quit out of other apps.

I haven't tried deleting appdata folder yet, I'll try that and get back to you.

And it's the game that crashes, no other games have this issue, just WoT.

I actually have the exact same problem for 4-6 months now, so happy I'm not alone. Funny thing is, I have the same specs in my laptop (I have a ROG Strix gl502vm). I've used CCleaner numerous times, re-downloaded  the game multiple times (and made sure I removed every single file that contained WG content), and followed WG support and they're methods. 3 days ago I got tired and reformatted my 2 drives completely and still had the problem.

Thanks for creating this post OP, I'll stay tuned

The culprit on you Asus computer could be a conflict with the Sound Sonic software. It is known to not play well with WOT.

This is what I'd check out first. Sometimes it is simply enough to clean up the ol' case and dust off the hardware. Especially if you don't play many other games or ones that aren't graphically intensive. I can tell from experience how much a simple act of cleaning can bring. You should do the same before spending any money. First rule out a hardware problem, then you can go over to potentially conflicting software.

Oh really? Never heard of that I'll remove it and let you know thanks man! :)

Turns out when I re-formatted my drives it removed the ROG gaming center (not complaining) and with it Sound Sonic and the other programs like it. So that can't be my issue since the game crashed 6 times in a row about 20 minutes ago.

Another fun thing is that when my game crashes, I can't ping the map, see pings, type in chat or see chat.. Kind've frustrating

I found it (I'm pretty sure). I disables the SteelSeries Engine 3 program and iCUE and its running super smooth. The game is even performing better. So there's probably a little program of the sorts that messing everything up
