Medic as crew skill

Has the idea ever come up of adding a medic as a crew skill to reduce stun damage and maybe a small% less chance of dead crew?

Just a pack of band aids.  Commander has Jack of all Trades.  Which I suppose is similar.

jack of all trades would be nice include reduce stun and decrease death chances

A skill to reduce stun would be cool. I'd probably take it on most loaders starting their 4th skill. Other than that... there are more important skills I think.

I don't care if its added. I think skills make the game unbalanced along with rng. So more things ruining the game are okay with me.

The new people trying to learn the game are at a huge disadvantage.  I'm sure that's part of the retention issue.  Starting off with 6th would be of huge benefit for them.

Or as a radio man only skill If a crew member gets knocked out if the skill is 100% can automatically recover a crew member after 60 seconds, this skill is disabled if the radioman is knocked out.

I always subscribed to the fact that when they announce a crew member has died and you use the med kit to heal them. It's just the crew tying the dead guy in place with medical supplies and operating the tank position "Weekend at Bernie's" style.

Can the medic give me a shot of morphine during the 30 second countdown after I look at the team rosters for both sides and get depressed?

I Agree . Personally i think they all should be removed and rng minimized to things like fires, dead crew etc. The rest should be player skill only.

or maybe they are witch doctors and zombie crew?

Mounting a Large First-Aid kit already lowers the chance of crew being knocked out.

Then the game would have to play at 6 frames per second.

I very much agree on the "Medic" skill as if for example on chooses to use "chocolates" or another of the related food consumables instead of the "Health Kits" and one of the crew gets knocked out its disability lasts the remainder of the battle and  that must be addressed. seeing that the repair kits etc has a 90 second cooldown
