Lights and fast mediums that refuse to scout, they go off far away from the front and camp in bushes, others just seem content to sit back and let others carry the match for them {never works out that way}. This game is really a test in frustration when you are trying to do your part, and so many others aren't. The crap teams just seem endless anymore. I am losing interest in this game because of this. I am thinking of deserting whenever I find myself on such teams, and just get on with the next match {on hopefully with a better team}.

Teams have always been a mix of good and bad, people are still people. You're just seeing the past through rose colored lenses.

Things aren't always the way they seem. I bet you were that guy in high school who always had a measuring tape in his pocket after gym class, in the showers. I also bet you always came up "short'.

You have 2500 battles, how good do you think you are? Just have fun.

Good teams, bad teams, indifferent teams, chatty teams, cheerful teams, droopy teams, it just doesn't matter.

Take care of your play and improve on it, use your teammates as assets, adapt to the situations at hand and make yourself the player others hope to see on their team or dread seeing on the other team is what matters.  And this is because of one factor:  you only control your tank, and your play.

Hell no. There is definitely a huge ramp up in the 1-15 and 15-2 steamrolls. One of the reasons I used to love this game so much were the long battles that came down to a few tanks at the end and was a real challenge. The general skill level has gone way down, a 48%er used to be average but he may as well be a god now with all the mid 30% players I see.

George, I understand your point here and generally agree with you, but to completely dismiss the possibility that macro player quality can change (improve or decline) over time isn’t fair, in my opinion.

Example: early in WOT’s history there weren’t YouTube videos to help players improve. As more of those became available, macro player quality probably improved.

Similarly, we know from various sources that player population is declining. It is conceivable that “better” players are moving on (there are many reasons this would happen, “frustration”

being a summary reason), and only “mediocre to poor” players are sticking around. (I’m not saying this is happening - I’m just saying it’s possible), then the OP’s point is possible.

To be fair, things look awful similar when you only seal club at tier 6.

I can't remember a week passing where I didn't post, or want to post, or thought about posting this thread.......

The op is either posting from an alternate account, in which case, this just feels like too much trolling to matter.

Or the op is so insanely bad/inexperienced that I cannot possibly believe they have any idea what good or bad play would look like.

Papawx3, hop back in your Matilda IV and play a couple hundred games; maybe bring a friend. Things will feel better after that.

Maybe it seems this way because you now know what other players are doing wrong as opposed to being oblivious.  The real puzzle is how to recognize these rofl stomps before they happen in order to position yourself to do the most good.

Now this is going to sound harsh be here goes.

Maybe the teams arnt as bad as YOU think they are. Maybe those players doing the ' wrong thing ' are in fact doing the ' right thing ' and you arn't good enough or experienced enough to see it. Now I understand that you are new ( hopefully ) with only 2500 games. But at 42% win ratio and average damage of less than 300 in a tier 9 heavy, means you are not qualified to call anyone bad.

You rushed up the tiers, now you are paying for it with the fact that nearly every battle you're in is 14 vs 15.

BS Shill ... players have gotten worse.  Since you DONT play in the uppers tiers, and when you play once in a blue moon you seal club in lower tiers, you wouldn't see the change.  Way way too many tomatoes in tier 8 premium tanks who are totally clueless.  As for me, I am only partially clueless at times.  Try playing the game and see what has happened instead of spewing the diarrhea you are so famous for.

As for you ... you comments aren't worth the screen pixels they take up.
