Wargaming finally set a tier 8 American TD to the Supertest sever. Beside that fact that wargaming reprinted a book that shows the TS-5 had a 105mm not a 120mm but hey. Now as this is only in supertest sever things are subject to change and there is no armor models for now. It's is hard to say what it will be like, but there are some early signs that this may fall into the same problems we have been seeing.

Currently stats list 260mm of front armor (no model yet) with a 26 km/h. Then .44 dispersion and 8.5 second reload. Which screams they want a slow front line TD where .44 won't matter and no weak spots. Now there does appear to be a good size hatch on top.

I would like to see this be a second front TD. Keep the 260mm, but give it a thin hatch. Force it to stay back where it can support well. Change the .44 dispersion to .38 to bring it in line with the t28. Also I'd like to see 5 crew so tier 10 can train and keep a extra person for 4 crew tanks.

Now at this point it's all just speculation, but the earlier we address this, the more it saves controversy down the road.

Wish it was fast but better something than nothing:). I wonder how well a 5 skill hellcat crew will perform in it?

We have been asking for a tier 8 Premium US TD for years. I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm also willing to bet that this TD if developed will not be sold for gold in the in game store. WG is bound to capitalize on this and try to shove some stupid "Bundle" down our throats for cash only..

I want one of these badly but I refuse to cave into WG's "Bundle" marketing scheme.

Just what the game needs, another rofl OP premium tier 8 TD to make the game even more dull and static.

I hope we get one to match the play style of tier 8-10 US TDs.

I'm cautiously optimistic that the ungodly huge lower plate on the TS-5 will be a substantial balancing factor. Fingers crossed, anyway.

This is not what we asked for. This is another tortoise/badger/T95.

Though Iam happy they're finally getting around to giving us one, I agree with Dockmaster on this one.

Though truth be told I find it hilariously convenient that the TS-5 happens to be one of the proposals I kept bringing up as a suggestion for well over a year now.

I'm currently working through the T28 so... 26km/h sounds awfully speedy!

Please be a marathon lol, that lower plate is going to suck unless ridiculously thick but I wouldn't hope for that.

I just hope it doesn’t get a cupola like the E5, we can work with a weak lower plate.

But does it train a radioman?

I like the TS-5 already. I mean, it's not over the top amazing, but it seems like a reliable, balanced premium tank.

So you must thing the T28 is also OP right? Because this new one isnt any better than the already existing T28 in the tech tree.
