Your statement does nothing to disprove my counterpoint to yours. They do, in fact, have plenty of INCENTIVES to conduct business in a way that satisfies their customers. Because, you know, they are a BUSINESS. As in they need to people to buy their crap.

I just realized you're an intentional troll. At first I thought you were just daft or senile, but it's clear you're an intentionally obtuse ignoramus. I will conclude my conversations with you from this point forward.

You never made a counterpoint.  I agree that making customers happy is an incentive.  They would make customers happy by giving them all a free tier 8 premium of their choice for doing nothing at all.  But that's not going to happen because they have little incentive to do so.

I am not a troll, you just get confused easily by jumping to too many conclusions.

But did you get the T95E2 tank? I'm not a Lawyer and I can't follow your OP, but after all the stuff I got this holiday promotional season it's really kind of hard to complain. Yes, I spent $200 bucks on boxes, but I got so much swag its crazy. I might be able to go the whole year without buying any more gold, premium time or garage slots......Sorry Scorp for your predicament, I feel for you. You have always been good to everyone here and if WG angered you, they anger me too......I just don't see it.

This is a separate promotion from the T95E2 promotion. The T95E2 promotion as far as I'm aware functioned normally. However, they announced that they were shutting that program down, and that it would no longer be active this month.

Then came along this unrelated promotion that still follows a similar premise - Inviting players to the game and getting stuff in return. The problem here is that with this e-mail promotion they seemingly were intentionally vague and unresponsive, to mislead people into believing they were getting Premium boxes for themselves and their recruits, when in reality it's small boxes (Which is hardly an incentive for anyone, and actually negatively impacts the new players, for the reasons that I described in my original post).

This promotion completely replaces and takes the place of any other invite code or invite promotion for the new player that accepts it, which means once they've created their account with this code, they're stuck with it. They won't be able to go back and use a different invite code that would have given them much more in return, and for less effort too.

The moment I received that email about recruiting?

I thought those were small loot boxes not the large loot boxes so I did not even bother to recruit anyone.

Why would you even thought those were large boxes?

"fine gifts" are subjective.

Marketing has always been about generalization and vague statements.

Huh. I did not start with any invite code. I got NOTHING for free when I started.

Except I was playing a FREE TO PLAY GAME.

This entitlement generation is going to be the death of all of us, I swear it.

Here is an idea for you OP: Spend the time you waste creating trash posts like this, and spend it WORKING. Then you too could afford to buy things.

Five small loot boxes at the end of an event (making them virtually worthless), verses an invite code with free gold and a premium tank. Anyone who got recruited and found out this would say f u c k this game...

     Who could blame them really?

I would NEVER refer a friend to this game for reasons that should be obvious, they suck.

Edit... they=Warfailing

1) WG promotes and encourages players to use invite codes.

2) It is not entitlement, if you are only expecting what you were told you would receive. WG said we would get lootboxes from following through with their program. We followed through, and did not get the promised lootboxes. Fair, truthful and all that? But clearly, WG wasn't.

3) I'm (mostly) not talking about myself. I've spent plenty of money on the game. I'm talking primarily about the new recruits who are getting essentially screwed out of a proper invite code. Why would they want to spend any money on a game they just started playing, especially after such a poor start? Actually, why would they want to play the game at all after that kind of a poor start?

Call me cynical, but I suspect most of the angst here is because the recruiters miss out, not the recruits.

Frankly I don't want brand new players driving around is IS3-As and Defenders.

Yes, the wording sucks, yes the rewards suck, but I didn't really think WG would be giving out 10 large loot boxes for every new recruit (5+5).

Sounds like most people signed up their wife, kids and pet cat to have a free crack at an IS-3A. I would have signed up my pet cat as well if I thought it gave me another 5 chances at a tier 8 premium too.

Wrong. I had every premium tank that is in those boxes already, nearly 100k gold, and 45 million credits. What I really wanted was for my GF to have some gold starting out and the chance to win a decent premium tank at tier 5 or above. Not some crap small loot boxes.

Looks like you didn't meet criteria anyway, so no use losing sleep over it.

I won't. But I'm not going to ignore that I was almost duped by WG, and others were.

Nothing about premium lootbox in this ad. Actually, you got more then advertised cos it doesnt say 5 EACH. So you and recruit should only get 2.5 boxes per head.Generous on WG part.

It actually says twice that "You'll both receive five FREE holiday lootboxes", and "You'll both receive these fine awards". Although maybe you're joking with the 2.5 boxes per head... I hope you are, at least.

I wonder if WG realises that this kind of shady promo hurts them more than helps them?

This game needs honest and interesting incentives to new players. Not that kind of trash that pisses the existing player base and discourage the recruits.

By the way, I cannot understand why on earth we never get an answer from WG on these forums?
