This is very sad to see at tier 10, very very sad
thought for sure you would be alone in field and 14 of your team on beach camping ...
With that said on overlord going to the beach isnt really the problem it is attacking / pushing enemy kill zones from the beach to their cap
Case in point I luv "going" to the beach /// why ? because when going to the beach in overlord its a simple way to encounter stupid tomatoe enemy team players .. I go to the beach to kill easy targets when Im done I retrace the path back to our side and PUSH a different lane of attack ... meanwhile enemy tanks are camping waiting for me to push from the beach and I pop up behind them from the field and shoot them all in the back..
PUSHING from the beach in overlord is the noob move not actually going to the beach ..because lets face it no matter what you do in almost every battle people will push beach in overlord and you cant stop it
I've recently gone beach for the first time ever on overlord. I was mid tier in an IS-2 and thought what the heck....followed a top and bottom tier down and ended up winning the game.
In general though, when I see more than 3 tanks go beach I tend to want to cliff dive...lol

Just like a lakeville valley push, if it succeeds, it does despite going there. If you can still beat a team doing that, then you probably would have won no matter where you went on the map.

I think the problem. is that bad players sometimes do really well on the beach or in the valley. They get a ton of useless damage against the other teams bad players, and might even end up on the top of their own team in a quick roflstomp loss. The damage they get makes them think they did well and everyone else is the problem. In reality, the damage they got is useless, and the map control they earned doesn't affect the outcome of the match. In short, you can win the beach, but it's nearly impossible to win the match on the beach.
