Hey Tankers,

Everyone wants those goodies for the best deal they can get, let me share with you how I did it.

The Large Gift Boxes x75 for $99.00 have given me anywhere between 40 and 70 gold plus a lot of silver credits. I have purchased 7  x75 box package and that was my average bounty given.

Convert the gold to silver and buy the Large/small Repair kits and Large/Small Medical kits for half price.

I use a lot of Boosters like Cola with every battle, If you use it Buy it while it is on SALE and Purchase enough to last a year.

Game this Whole WEEKEND with a Premium Vehicle to get as MUCH Silver as you can BEFORE THE SALE ENDS!

Good Luck Brothers and Sisters

Yeah, I was thinking about buying one more large box just for the silver to buy the large repair kits at half price. I don't know how many credits I can earn in a weekend of playing.....Might also sell some tree tanks I haven't played in a while...

I recommend buying as many consumables as you can bear.

It is like credits in the bank. If you need credits and there is not a consumable sale on you can sell them back for what you paid for.

Are you Elon Musk? Because I don't see any other reason why you would want to convert gold to credits

between the boxes and just game play in general, I've accumulated 60K in gold and 26 million in credits.  Glad to see there is a sale going on finally.  I was down to a couple hundred large repair kits.

Elon Musk? I don't understand. Please enlighten me. When I purchased my kits it made me convert to silver.

Please no. Gold > credits. You can always earn credits. Gold, not so much, specially with fail tournaments WG is doing now.

People really spend that kind of money on pixel tanks?

I spent $80 on two 25x boxes and that will pay for my premium time all year.

I can't see converting gold for consumeables.  Seems like such a waste of money.

My standard loadout is auto extinguisher,  small repair, small first aid.

I almost never lose credits with premium time unless I play something like my type 5 and load all gold ammo for the extra damage.

The conventional wisdom is that you shouldn't spend cash for credits, since you can earn credits by playing the game.  So spending cash for gold to covert to credits is "extravagant."

But honestly that wisdom doesn't always apply.  It works great  if you play a lot, you're an above-average player (so your credits-per-hour earning rate is high), you're playing a premium account, driving a premium tanks, and using boosters.   It also  applies if  you're finished most of  your tech tree research, so you're not spending millions of credits to buy  tanks below Tier 10 that you later sell for a fraction of what you paid.   And it only works if you can be patient.  So IMO, the "never spend gold for  credits" advice is a lot like "let them eat cake."

If you don't meet those conditions and find yourself needing millions of credits, time is money.  Spending cash for credits may be your best bet.  It all comes down to your decision about what's worth your money.

I just looked at it as the best bang for the buck, I believe the sale ends this weekend (Don't hold to me to that as Gospel) so if a player plays like me and uses 60,000 credits out the gate in a tier 10 with cola-20,000, Large repair kit-20,000 and Large Medical  kit-20,000 credits before a shot is even fired, this may help save monies/credits in the long run. Anyhow this is my strategy, yours may differ. An average of half priced gold on the large gift box package and a 50% discount on consumables is, in my eyes, paying 75% less for consumables over regular price. Get it while you can.

If you see it differently then that is your opinion that you're allowed to have.

Just spent 28 Million Credits on Consumables and Modules.  I now have only 27 Million credits.  I had been saving up for this day.  The holiday events (Hallowe'en, Thanksgiving and Advent/New Year Bustle have been supplying me with Hella GOOD bonus' to credits and XP, plus some kind strangers gifted me with Large Boxes during this last round and I got lots of gold, credits, PRs and Consumables along with what I collect on my own) really made a difference and took me from 9 Million at around Halowe'en to today, before I spent, 57.7 Million credits.  I think I should be good for another year or so of Modules and Consumables.

And I haven't even cleaned out my Garage of: Unneeded ammo, old guns and tank modules, consumables I won't use (food for lines I am not grinding for example) and whatever else might be lying around waiting for a rainy day.

You seem like the guy who needs a pawn shop and uses a pay-day loan service.

If you have all the money in the world you certainly don't need anyone's advice here on the forums.

so what do you do with it? collect it? To me it serves a purpose. I get it .5 or .3 of the regular price with current sales, why not use it for things that are currently half priced that will be purchased later on at full price? I don't get it? What is soo special to you over saving gold?

Gold:  Train/Retrain Crews, Buy Garage Slots, Premium Time, Premium Tanks (some can be had for gold) Convert Free XP.

Credits?  Not ever for gold, you can grind that shizzle out daily just by playing.  I just spent, as I said above around 28M credits (more like 27.5 or so).  I still have another 27 (pinky fingernail to corner of lip) MILLION credits.  Mwuah hah hah hah haaaah! Mwuah hah hah hah haaah!

I am a Free To Play Pubbie.  Have not spent a Penny to play in over four years now.

GL, HF & HSYBF!

14,700 Gold as of this moment.

Gold costs actual money, credits are earned in the game. Converting gold to credits means you'll be spending real money to get credits .....

If you're cool with that then by all means go ahead but for most people that will be a bit extravagant considering how much gold costs in this game and what you can get for gold by spending it wisely

I just spent 60 mill credits on equipment and consumables, that equates to 150k gold or ....600 dollars worth of gold-> credits if you purchase it in the shop. Less if you buy boxes of course but still 250-300 dollars worth of gold.

If you can afford to spend that kind of money then by all means, have at it but it's not "good advice" for the average player
