that is an absolute terrible bang for your buck.  Buying gold and then converting it to credits to then buy consumables is horrible value.  Spend all your credits sure but don't waste gold like that.

100 and 105 octane are both on sale, while in game click store then service tab and then the consumables tab. then scroll down

Thank You...

I'm sure there are many more like me playing here but do not mention it due to fear of ridicule. :B

It's cheaper to buy silver in premium shop than converting gold to silver, but I think the combination of using premium account and playing a few good premium tanks is even better if you're a decent player.

Also, there aren't any "free players", you pay one way or another. Most free players would be better off financially if they spent more time on education, career or business in lieu of excessively playing WOT.

converting gold to credits is the worst use of gold.  Don't go recommending others waste it in a similar fashion, please.

Converting gold to silver in this game is a terrible deal.  Use the gold to get a good premium VIII tank, and buy some credit boosters.  Play the game and have fun, make credits.

This was based on the purchasing the large x75 boxes for $99.99 for the sole purpose of getting the consumables at a great bargain price of 75% lower than original values of regular price.

Today I purchased my 8th x75 box package netting me a total of just under 400k gold for the sole purpose of buying the consumables at such a fantastic discount combining them together for an on average massive savings that will hopefully last all year till next sale. If I need more gold sometime throughout the year It can be purchased at any time without reservation. This was about taking advantage of the massive savings to those high consumers of CONSUMABLES!

No disrespect but I realise there are alot of players that are financially challenged, this is for those that are not.

Not really. Silver is sold at the same 400:1 conversion rate.

The only savings comes from the reduction on the package, or the fact that you're buying a bigger lump of gold.

It's one of my biggest gripe with WG's bundles: They often add millions of credits in bundles, which is worth more than the gold that is also in the bundle.

Taking The Gold Stipend for example: 4000 gold and 4 million credits for $74.83 (in Canadian moneys).

4 million credits = 10,000 gold at 400:1.

The price of 14,000 gold with the "Any amount of gold" is $74.91. So in this package silver cost you the same as if you bought gold and made the conversion ingame.

The savings comes from buying more. Buying those two items separately would cost $79.64.  [4k gold is $24.29, 10k gold is $55.35.]

Same math applies to any bundle they offer when you take the time to break it down.

They don't sell silver without gold, only in gold/silver combo package, so I am not sure what you're talking about. If you need silver, it's definitely cheaper to buy combo packages, than to just buy gold. For example, 25K gold is $100 (10M silver if you convert in game), so is 10M silver/10K gold combo, which is effectively 10K gold extra. Yes, larger packages are a better deal, if you can call buying anything from WOT a "deal".

If you can afford it, and I assume you are telling it true, then it’s your money and thanks for supporting the game.

I cleaned house, I managed to get 3500 in food, 6500 Large Medical kits, 5300 Small Medical kits, 7200 Large Repair kits and 9500 Small Repair kits Plus a Bonus Buy of Personal Reserves that should last me until next years sale.

that is awesome. I have at least 2000 of each main consumable, both large and small. I really focused on equipment though. I have at least 8 of each piece of equipment except wet ammo and grousers.

When it comes to rammers, I think I have 12 of each type...feels good to be stocked up.
