Howdy Tankers,

So, I have 50 million credits built up because I play a lot and I bought a lot of boxes.  I prefer a more brawlish style of tanking, so I'm in constant need/use of Large Repair Kits.  I go through at least 20 of those bad boys a day.  I don't focus on the math that much in tanking, but it seems to me that purchasing 30M worth of LRK's would actually be saving me 30M in credits based upon my use over time (50% off).

Does this sound right?

Does this make sense?

Thoughts? Input? Assistance? - all much appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Yep, that's how it works.  About to spend about the same on those and food.

Same here. I checked WOT Labs to figure my annual battle count. Since I don't have a lot of time for gaming,  I figure about 1000 Large repair/1st aid kits and about 750 auto extinguishers should be more then enough to cover me until 01-2020. Since you don't get lite on fire as often as often as you take damage/lose crew,  I probably can get by with less AE but since I have all the sliver from the loot boxes, it makes sense to get them now.

I spent 48 million this morning on consumables and equipment, probably 40 of it was consumables.

It does save me 40 million over the course of the next year as I use them, but I probably would not use food if they were not 50% off, so not sure if that is pure "savings" so to speak. I really spent about 35 million on stuff I would not normally use.

Edit: Also, once the sale is over you can sell consumables at any time for 50% of the full price and turn them back into credits without any loss of value if you need them, so stock up.

Yes it does! It saves a lot of credits, but it takes a while to return the investment.

That math checks out. Personally, I only use the large first aid and large repair during competitive modes, and small stuff every other time, so I stocked up on about 2200 of small first aid and small repair, then about 2200 auto fire extinguishers, so I should be good to go until next year, when they finally do another consumable sale.

That’s too rich for me but I do the same with small repair kits and it’s teally helpful buying them at a discount.  I can’t imagine having enough credits to buy that many large kits.  I’m always credit poor from buying tanks unlock as I’m grinding all lines at once.

I must confess, by the time that I wrote this Post, I went from 50,440,000 Credits down to 2.6M credits.  30M in Repair Kits, 5M in First Aid, Some Food and the rest equipment - A LOT of Equipment.

The way I look at it, you should put all of your free money into equipment because when they're 50% off, you're guaranteed to get your money back whenever you need it (after the sale weekend of course).

Anarchy, I just bought the T57 which is my final Tier X purchase for 2019.  Nice to get that one knocked out in January.  The rest is all gravy for me.

i had millions of experience available to convert.. and with such discounts was hard not to..

today again out of nowhere i advanced from zero the french heavy line.. now i have 2 extra IXs to buy and soon more Xs to come..

when i thought i had all the tanks i want, i figured out that i cant have enough of them..

i hope frontlines starting soon.. i need it!

anyhow if i didnt need to buy all those tanks, i would most likely spending millions of credits in equipment and consumables too...

they are a great investment..

Thank you for correcting me.  Clearly, I'm stuck in my past and cannot get out...  :amazed:

I wonder if preppers might be responsible for the lack of sales.
