According to Noobmeter, the two tanks are the worst of the 42 tier VIII HTs. I got a mark of excellence on the KV-4 for 650 average damage. And the Tiger II is even worse. Therefore, I propose buffs to both tanks.

I feel the Tiger tanks should be a bit better than they are.

Maybe it's just me but I don't ever feel like playing them in the current meta.

They both need buffs, that is for sure.

Like as much as Lowe has received.

Tiger needs turret roof buff, 122mm+ overmatches it.

I did quite well in the KV-4 actually, but I guess some power creep has happened since then. While I have not tried the Tiger II yet, I hear nothing but bad things about it and I believe it needs substantial buffs. If they want it to be viable at tier 8, they should probably give it a prototype E-75 turret as a researchable upgrade.

I like my KV4, also having a mark on it.  But, It does need a buff.  It doesnt exactly fit in the meta.  Its not fast, its somewhat tall, armor is flat..   But, I know I have to play it carefully as it wont survive long vs the "meta" heavies at its tier.

I agree with you on the power creep. The KV-4 used to be known as the KV-Fortress because of it's armor. The armor didn't get nerfed, as far as I know, it's just that the guns firing at it slowly got higher and higher penetration. As for the Tiger II suggestion, the stock E-75 turret is actually inferior to the Tiger II turret. Perhaps give it the stock VK4502B turret, but that wouldn't really make sense.

Maybe the KV-4 should be able to get the 130mm gun now that we know it wont be OP.

The KV-4 first. The KV-4 is in dire need of a buff.

The mobility, and the gun handling are insanely bad. Despite the accuracy of the long 107mm; the gun never hits the target. I have all the equipment (VSTAB, vents, rammer) a 5 skill crew (from my KV-5 that I temporarily moved over, to try to salvage this disaster), had all the perks (BIA, Snapshot, Smooth ride) it never shoots straight, and it does not hit where the recital is pointed. Pick any distance, and the gun messes up. I ended up trashing the top gun for the 122mm that somehow manages to land more shots than the top.

Don't ask me how it works, because I cannot tell you. The KV-4 needs work; badly. I'm a good player with the KV-4 having in impressive 45% WR, and 1,461 WN8. How? That's my stats and I managed to two mark it. I'm serious. I even have a replay.
