So I have waited a while for the consumable sale. As such I have 26 million credits. I was planning on getting 2,600 cases of cola, but that seems a bit overkill. Using large kits for the first time in the tourney tonight and thought maybe I should invest in those too?

I really only play hellcat and scorpion. Even paying full price for food I break even most times. If they release TS-5, I may consider getting the T30, as well as M10 and M36 at some point. Either way Im playing American TDs. Never seen a real use for large kits, but I have the cash. To use them comfortably for the next several months. How much of a benefit are they really? Mainly looking at Hellcat (obviously a large repair kit helps more on T30 than it does on M18)

Should I run large kits (in your opinion), and what ratio should I buy them to food. Was thinking maybe 750-750-1000?

This is how it was explained to me I hope it helps.

The large Medical kit helps protect the crew from injuries like the spall liner does but it also reduces arty stun and damages from arty and HE rounds.

The Large Repair kit speeds up repair time as well as helps aid the reduction of critical damage done by HE shells and arty just like spall liner.

The large kits have passive benefits that are very useful, and I ran large kits almost exclusively until recently.  I've recently converted over to only using small kits (aside from the extinguisher).  But, large kits are a must for the personal missions (heavy) that require you to finish the battle with no damaged modules or injured crew.

Yes I know how they work but are they worth it?

Ive dropped large medkits and auto extinguishers. I do run large toolkits for that 10% bonus on anything heavy tier 7 and above. Food for arty and some French lights.

2000 each of small med, tool and extinguishers. 900 Large toolkits. 500 chocolate and croissants.

But I still have some cash and it will be interesting to see how others break it down.

To me they are. I want to perform the best I can. I do notice a significant difference in my game play in the positive side using them.

At the last sale, I bought 400 fire extinguishers.  They hardly kick in or get used, so I sold 200 of them.  Somehow, I now have 280 - earned through boxes, missions, whatever.  I personally think they're a must but you don't need more than lets say 100.  First Aids, don't need as many and you can actually use the smaller ones most of the time.  For me, when I get shot in high tiers, all kinds of equipment goes out.  A large repair kit is a must.  I bought 31,000,000 worth of them today.

Not for me.  Once I'm spotted/hit, I'm done like dinner.

Your fine with small repair and med..  Only 4 crew members.  Typically only one member gets wounded at a time.  Stock up on food for the Hellcat and the small kits.  I ran a few games with it the other nite with food.  Helps a lot.  Your other thread inspired me to do so.  I'll be doing that from now on.  How's the Hellcat working out for you?

Still beautiful and kickass as ever. Just checked today... Up to 515m view range and counting. My recon skill is at 80% then I am fully maxed. 60% camo too! Such a freaking beast.

Excited a new crew trainer is in testing. Although my crew doesnt exactly line up perfectly with a TS5 or whatever, 5 skills is 5 skills.

They aren't to me but that doesn't mean that they won't be to you. In the end only you can decide if they are "worth it" because everyone deals with the economy of this game differently.

They come handy for those days where RNG gives you middle finger after middle finger, like some random TD killing two or more of your crew members in one shot.

I think they are very useful and I spend millions ever time a half price sale comes up.  No regrets.  The passive bonuses are useful and repairing everything instead of just 1 item/person means one less button press.  I personally put them on every tank Tier 5+

I'll run them in the arty magnet tanks and ones with large crews.  A 53/55 took out 3 crew members in the Mutant with a 200 hp near miss a couple days ago.  Was worth it for sure in that case.

I only use large kits on t10's in random battles. And tanks like t95 or tort where they live or die on track repair speed.

I use Large Med-pack and Large Repair Kit on all non-arty tanks.

I find it easier to hit 1 button to fix whatever broke or heal whoever got injured as opposed to having to see what/who got knocked out and the appropriate 'second' button that needs to be hit.

With arty, if anything/anyone got knocked out, I wouldn't necessarily be in too big of a hurry. I'll have time to determine if it's worth the possibly wasting a pack or kit, so using a small pack and kit is more feasible. The only arty that I do run the large ones on is Bert.
