I only run small now since you can reuse them after 90 seconds. if i am not mistaken each large kit cost 20k so therefore you are down 20 k when you use one, to me that is a big waste of money for PUBS, clan wars and strongholds? YES use them. I see no need to use them anymore in pubs when we can reuse small kits now

I have started using the Large Repair Kit on my M4A! Ravioli, since it kept getting the engine & tracks knocked out in one shot. Also going to be running one in the T28 for the bonus to repair time.

And I've gotten a ton from events over time, so the "cost"  is really the 10k I could sell them for.

I've been doing the F2P thing for years and I almost exclusively play solo pub, so I used to eschew the large consumable items in the interest of frugality. Unfortunately, that frugality came to an end last fall when suddenly my engines started being knocked out with alarming regularity. I've taken to running large kits as a way of mitigating this development. They've been very useful in that respect and they haven't hurt my bottom line very much--I was able to dump 12 million into half-off consumables last night, so I'm set for another year.

In that respect, I think they're worth it. They keep me in games and allow me to continue to earn money in games where golden BBs were previously knocking my engine out.

worth on casemate TDs. having the 2nd repair kit to bail you out of tracking situations is massive. i run the 2nd kit on some of my soviet heavies too.

run the large medkit on my lights and squishies, cause sometimes it feels bad to lose your driver and cmdr in one HE hit

The sale was well timed, I was down to 31 large kits left so I purchased 1998. I use large kits all around for the passive benefits but the fire and first aid get used slower than I earn them in missions.

I can't see popping 20k every time I get tracked.  I am fine with small kits.  Just play more conservative when they are on recharge.  Sure I can see a big benefit if you play slow tanks since tracked = death.  But I avoid those things now.

Food vs extinguisher?   I'm happy to see a lot of people running food these days.  Burn baby burn!

I don't think .025 faster reload is worth half my health when I get "they lit that one up'ed".

I typically use a auto fire ext. and the other 2 are small kits in random battles. When playing in CW events I use all large kits to give that little more protection.

It is like buying tools at Sears, no one pays list price because they always go on sale. 10K to repair or heal everything plus the passive bonus is well worth it. I use large, large, and auto in every tank.

That's why Sears went bankrupt
