But the saddest part is that you care. lol

What's even sadder is you're still posting here defending the shills.

Nero man you have done this before about spotting. Take sometime an try to get thru the multiple videos of how, why, what and when on concealment and spotting. Might save you from a brain hemorrhage someday playing. Main thing is sticking half out of the bush wipes out the concealment value of the bush.

He wasn't sticking half out, just enough to expose the center detection spot but yeah I don't think most people know you only need to be able to see through the bush to spot, not be right in it. I'm thinking the 103 snuck up to the bushes I have circled and was first to spot him, probably went into siege mode so was the last to hit, all the shots came from that direction anyway. Only way to know for sure is ask the guys on the other team.

As an aside, the 53/55 was right about your initial bush choice.

Might consider running food until you get your screw skilled up.

Thank you.

The one thing I forgot to mention is that many think they need to be "IN" a bush, when you should use bushes as a screen hence you need to be "BEHIND" the bush.  Further, bushes range from a 5% to 50% bonus and can be arbitrarily random.  There are even "fake" bushes that offer nothing.

Depending where angles reds can come from, sometimes you need to be in a bush so you have camo from 360° rather than the limited angle you get from being behind the bush, especially red line bushes.

Edit: this is not intended as a disagreement with your initial point,  but rather an expansion on it.

This is true.

Behind bushes is good where you can’t be flanked.

There is several spotting positions I use, that requires almost 360 bush coverage.

Thought for sure I could not be spotted where I was, but then I got killed.

I may have missed it but I don't think your 6th sense went off.  The front of your tank was sticking out of the bush so you could have been spotted, maybe the Strv. More likely, since your 6th sense did not appear to go off, the other team blind fired a known bush. I know I blind fire it.

+1 for providing the replay and not screaming about cheats.

Your front hull visibility marker was showing - thus you were easy to spot because it was the same as if you were parked out in the open, in the middle of the road having tea.

He got spotted and died before the 3s delay for 6th to go off. Skorp G/Somua SM the instant he was spotted and then the killshot 1 second after.

It wasn't a blind fire. The Ferdinand or Skorp G moved up to look through the bush near them and a light tank showing his entire front tank lit up! I assume the Strv was high up E1 and the bush infront of him was protecting him from that spot.

It was either a tank on the road or a tank in the D1 area. They have a clear line to see the front end of his tank that he left exposed for 20+ seconds.

That could be true. There's no doubt that the Strv had moved pretty far up. Either one, spotted or blind fire, is a reasonable explanation.

It's VERY unlikely it was blind fire with three different tanks hitting him almost simultaneously.

I did not know about bush bonus varying and "fake" bushes. Good to know.

I always figured the rating was the same and the difference was some bushes were smaller and you couldn't get all of your spot check points behind them so you might be visible from some angles and not other. Good to know about the variables in bonus, thanks

Shouldn't there be a poll for this thread? I vote Waldo.
