Yeah, I didn't want to make two posts for this so here it is.

First, the Pz III/IV, I can't find a concrete reason to complain about the tank, it's fast, the gun behaves well (Especially for a stock crew), but it feels somehow lacking regardless, what are your opinions on this tank?

As for the STB, I''m currently on the STA-1, which is excellent but I'll sell it once I'm done anyway because I got an STA-2. Should I pick repairs or camo for their fourth skill?

Thanks.

3/4 is a fat scout. i do like its mobility but the armour might as well not be there and the L48 is a fairly mediocre gun.

My SECOND skill on Medium tanks is concealment... I can't believe you're even considering not putting it for your 4th skill !?!

It's the strongest skill in the game... if you take a totally unimproved tank and simply drop a crew into it with concealment as the only skill they have, the tank's native concealment value nearly doubles.

I'm gonna disagree with you just a little bit because it depends on the tank whether camo is my second skill imo.I either go with BIA or repairs on a brawling medium but in his case he probably would have  been better off with camo earlier like you stated as his second skill.

Camo first then change to bia when 100 percent and make camo 2nd skill but you also want 6th sense for commander so use a female recruit as commander.

3/4 is a decent counter scout platform that suffers against same tier mediums . .. But it's still somehow fun to play

I like my Pz 3/4. It was one of the first tanks I 3 marked. I find it to be a decent support tank and a support tank is all it can be. Being a tier 5 you're on the cusp of bad players getting into higher tiers where knowing basic game battle mechanics eg. spotting, penning, armor etc are now more important. However coming up to an IS2, T29 or SU 152 is a different ball game compared to the lower tiers. So with the new 3,5,7 mm, you're in trouble if the majority of the team is still learning how to play.

Why would you do BIA for 1st or 2nd perk? Add perks that are useful why you grind exp. for the perk. I would much rather have camo that works at 70% than having BIA that doesn't work at 99%.

I can't speak to the STB-1 but I'm on the cusp of 3 marking the Pz. III/IV.  It is a GREAT tank that I originally really hated.  To your point, it has ZERO panache.  It isn't a sexy tank but it is really solid.  It has the second highest turret traverse in the game, tied with the T-100 LT and behind only the EBR 75 (wheeled vehicles will naturally have faster traverse rates).  The dispersion and on turret traverse bloom isn't anything to write home about, it is faster than pretty much everything at that tier, and above, which allows it to get places faster to play the role of a sort of heavy Light, and it'll outgun equal tier Lights.  The armor is troll-ish, which is helpful.  If I had to do it over again, I'd have gone with a Gun Rammer, Vert Stabs, and Binocs.  From that point, I'd be like a ghetto T-67.

Just an all around enjoyable tank.

You don't have camo or repairs on your thin armor tank just what have you been doing?

  • If it has armor then repairs first
  • If it don't then hide that SOB

Thanks for your input, I guess I'll take repairs on my STA and take a closer look at the III/IV. :justwait:
