Been playing up the USA, french, and german SPG lines. the US and German I have no issues with but the french....having a hard time. I'm at the 155 50 right now and the low trajectory is killing me!! the other two nations have good arcs on the trajectory of the round but the french one its like shooting a normal tank gun. Positions I normally go to don't work and it seems like I'm extremely limited to firing at vehicles that have no obstructions near them at all. hell one map a hay bale was enough to stop it. odd thing is I didn't feel the tank beofre the 155 50 was as bad.

the aim circle also always seems to be a pretty wide oval where a the others it seems like a tight circle. What am I missing here about the french spgs over the others?

just about every line has a good tank or really great one then a POS.

You just have to grind the POS to get to the next good tank.

For tanks with bad map trajectory, you really have to get to know the map well. There are imperfections within the buildings, some are destroyed in certain areas, permitting you to land shots there; or sometimes make use of slopes to give yourself some trajectory. The mobility of the french arties is very helpful with this, but of course there will still be certain situations where you cannot hit any enemies due to your bad trajectory, because all the areas you could relocate to to get better shots are unsafe at the moment.

Just experimenting with different areas to go to at the beginning of the battle, and see where it lets you get shots off.

still struggling...I can't figure out how to use the 155 50 at all. Maps where everything else I can aim and hit, this thing is defeated by anything and everything. I feel like I need line of sight to the target to actually have a chance.

It isn't as bad on larger maps but smaller ones its almost a no go.

For reasons beyond me. The 155 51 is my favorite tier 8.

As was said above. Maps , maps and more maps.

I find it to be great corridor shooter. Most maps have them in one form or another. They are fast enough to keep on the move, either better shots in lane, or moving to another channel.

A long range TD.
