I've been grinding up all of the trees of tanks I like so far, now I've hit a bit of a spot where not many of the other trees appeal to me.

I've been looking at the 25t line, made it to the pre line change 12t and absolutely hated it. Looking at having to grind out that, plus two more light tanks is not what I would call a treat if the BC isn't that good. I'll be the first to admit, I'm not a good light tank driver, me and spotting don't exactly go hand in hand. Sadly it seems to be the price you pay to play the BC 25t.

I've checked out some videos on YouTube, but that's just 2 or 3 people, not exactly a large sample.

So is it worth it? What are the pros and cons to it? I know it carries a very limited amount of ammo, but has some good camo values and view range. Anything else?

Thanks!

The batchat is still the best tier 10 scout.. better than any of the light tanks easily...  its got it all clip potential, view range, speed, camo... Its the best line to choose from the 12t from a power choice,, but how you do crew training/which premiums you have ect

The grind from that T8 is just awful. I don't think I'm gonna make it.

I chose the AMX 30 after the BC12t, but put a fresh crew in the 12t and now grinding for the BC 25t AP. Not so much fun the second time round especially with untrained crew...

I'm not sorry about the AMX 30 though, it's a good tank!.... :)

the only turd of the line is the BC12t. It is the only tank I truly hated in the line and it comes down to just how mediocre it is. Highlights of the line are the AMX 40 (its the best tank ever, fight me irl if you disagree) and the BC25t AP. One thing to mention on the line is that the AMX ELC is not very good nowadays and requires a very good crew to make it work.

I prefer the 13 105 because of only a 20 sec reload for your clip. better pub stomper.

I really like the bc 12t. It's a fun tank, versatile and responsive. The gun does quite a bit when all 4 shells land. Even when they dont it distracts a tank or flank enough for allies to take the initiative .

I've gone down the 13 105 line and loved it and now im on the 25T AP and hate it.

I actually bought, and grinded the T-10 up to get the 277 before coming back to the 25T AP which I already had 50k exp sitting on it.

For me it's a play style that i'm not used to yet as the tank is literally made out of paper

If you don’t like true light tank play (spotting, taking safe shots of opportunity, surviving, cleaning up at the end) then this whole line might not be for you.
The BC25’s (tier 9 and 10) are a bit more powerful than the lights, but they all don’t have armor and can’t brawl, so they have to use view range, concealment, flanking and overall map awareness to succeed.

They have a high skill ceiling and a pretty low floor, meaning it’s easy to struggle (low performance) and it takes a lot of skill learned over time  to really shine (high performance), in my opinion.
I find all these tanks great and a lot of fun, but it’s not for everyone.

I don't mind those as mediums, 50/51 is my favorite tank. I am just not a huge fan of being responsible for doing the sporting for a team, or sitting in a bush and not pulling the trigger.

Maybe I'll have another look at some of the other lines first.

I believe you are at the tier 6 AMX 12 t. I thought the tier 6 & 7's were great and I would stick with them until you get to the tier 8.  By that time either you learn and get used to their play style or decide they are not for you, but the French play differently from the other lights.  They are great mid/late game assassins of isolated and low health tanks.  I'm not great in them, but once you get used to them I think they become really fun tanks.

At first I thought this thread was a troll or a joke...   Asking if the BC25t line is worth it is like asking if the 430U is worth it.  You're basically asking if one of the two top tanks in the entire game is decent.  The BC25t is the top tank for Clan Wars and unicums...but no, I'm sure it's not decent, you should skip it...:teethhappy:

Is the Ferrari worth the grind?   I feel like my Pinto makes a decent enough sports car.

all good until the BC25tAP is painful to grind, 42s reload, 2.7s reload between the shot and the gun take forever to aim. 380 basic view range. I totally stop grinding it.

Go test it out.  French wheeled line is available too.  Very bottom of link is the DL.

Why would it be a troll or a joke, I've never played the tank, so I have no idea if they are good or not. If it plays more like a scout, it may not be my cup of tea, since I am not a fan of scouting. Thus the reason I am asking the question.

Also, I don't follow CW, so how would I know if that is the top tank in them or not?

Honestly, if you have nothing worth contributing to the topic, don't bother posting.

I was watching QB play them earlier, I'm just not a fan of scouting, and I'm waiting for Iteration 2 of the test server where they will probably see balance changes before I consider them.

Well I've got nearly 400k free xp, seems like I would be stuck playing the lights or the 25t AP either way..
