Tankers, the Battle of Anzio Historic Mission event is now live!
Complete a series of missions to commemorate a months-long skirmish that began with an amphibious landing to break the Germans' Gustav Line in Italy on January 22, 1944.

It's necessary to redeem one of two special Bonus Codes to receive their corresponding Mission Chain and earn some extra goodies while playing Tanks from January 22 - Feb 1 03:20 PT | 05:20 CT | 06:20 ET

Why we no get Annie????

Awesome, I like when there are missions that relate back to the historical events!  One thing that confuses me though is that I see on that announcement page that players can choose Allied or Axis forces but I only see the option for Allied.  Any one else or did I overlook something?

They're side by side. Maybe your browser is very narrow and you need to scroll to the right?

Looks fine on my end! Might be a display issue on a mobile browser or something similar causing the issue. The codes are ANZIOALLIED or ANZIOAXIS

Why would anyone pick the axis version unless that's their only choice? lol

Am kinda disappointed with this mission.  Guess I have gotten spoiled with the previous missions and expected more from WG.  And after the loot boxes and all the extra garage spaces I have getting one more just doesn't get my attention.

Kaiser and Domo, thanks for the replies.  It was indeed an issue where I was looking with my phone browser didn't think to scroll to the side to see the Axis option.

Might be one of those things where it's easier to find American and British targets versus German?

 

My current focus tanks are a French, Swedish and Czech do when I get home, I'll probably take them out first to see how the nation population flow is going and then pick a side accordingly.

how do you get the code to play this mission. I selected a side to play but when asked to enter the code I can't do it since the code was never sent. Please help.

when you first log on in the events display go to the Anzio mission and above the button to submit is the code

Actually that is my case, I only have German tanks so... doing twice as much as the allies and also surviving just to get the same reward, I am already getting used to it, heh.

You need to have italian tanks too to finish axis.

Now to chose. Seeing as I only have 1 Italian T4 tank (stock), I guess I'll be allied.
