Will we be able to continue where we left off last year? Like if we got to the 3rd prestige in the first iteration do we continue from there or do we start from 0 again?

I don't think the map needed to be changed very much if at all. The one major flaw was C section by the water not being able to be reinforced from A or B on the attacking side, but in way that was ok too because as soon as B was capped reinforcement could be easily achieved. Try not to dumb it down too much. This game mode rewarded strong tactical and strategic thinking.

Having 10 episodes is great, too bad you only have the original map to use. Please make more than one Frontline megamap. Even if it has flaws it will draw in the players.

The reward tanks look really cool. Having a Japanese and Chinese premium should increase the desire to explore those nations tank trees. The Premium Swedish heavy was/is needed as a trainer for the top of the Swedish line, kudos on that. I'm very interested as to what type and nation the Tier 9 will be. I'll save my comments on what nation it shouldn't be, but you can probably guess those. No comment on the rentals, but the idea seems intriguing.

This game mode rocks because it actively rewards and forces teamwork. Much more than vanilla WoT.

Having a single tier is also crucial to this and I'm glad to see it return. One thing WG seems to ignore is that non-premium tanks can really struggle against higher tier tanks. With the 3/5/7 matchmaking (and OP premium tanks) in effect this discourages players from grinding certain lines and even trying to play others. Frontline, although limited to tier 8, can allow these neglected tank types to be used and maybe even enjoyed.

My true and only concern is to know wether they checked the schedules for frontline because last sessions i was totally unable to play the game mode because in my timezone, it's litterally in the night, and i can't play at that time as a student, but we can't also switch to Europe to have normal schedules, so what's the deal with us?

Good news at last. When does the event begin?

Incidentally I'll mention that we'd be just as excited and enthusiastic about playing the randoms if MM consistently gave us same-tier matches and if stats weren't recorded at all.

I like the rental part, that can help you test tanks you don't have.

Nooo!!! Not the new rare Swedish Tier VIII premium heavy tank Emil 1951. I want it in premium shop, not Frontline-exclusive.

My only concern was that they are making it even easier and faster to destroy the main objectives at the end.  Last time we already had single scouts rushing the mains and taking them out easily, I dont agree with them making those even easier to kill.

Exactly.  It's fairly obvious they're very concerned over what will happen to their standard game mode player base if they release this full time, which would be those numbers dwindling down to almost nothing.

Hmm... maybe that's because same tier matchmaking is 100x more fun? Maybe because people like playing vs tanks they have equal standing with while they try and grind credits?

Come on WG, admit it, same tier / +1 MM is whats needed for this game to survive.

True and I am glad for it, any tank should be for sale.  Wallet warriors pay for a huge portion of this game I imagine so let them buy it!

P.S.  I am glad FL is back!!

If they could have figured out how to monitize it, we'd be seeing same tier MM by now.

Just looking at the map they put up on the front line page, it shows 2 repair points in the start zones, 2 repair points in the middle zone, and no repair points in the end zone?  Defending team cant repair or resupply but attacking team can disengage and go get fixed and ammoed up again?  Is this correct for the new mode?

How are they monetizing a game mode that will last 10 weeks, and you have to play to earn rewards?

i think because they rent premiums for gold...but i just agree a little with he.. but i think in that more like a way to advertise the premiums... not monetizing but more like advertise...

but let be honest if they give us premiums for free for frontline...some people like me with only 2 tier 8 will play with that free premiums so is fine rent the premiums, i wish they rent premiums for credits....but that not will happen

Frontline on test client is making me very nervous: 2nd battle I played was a win with premium time and I made only 50k credits from the whole half hour affair, and 3 of my 4 tier 8 tanks were premium, and I wasn't shooting premium rounds. Now, the numbers obviously weren't final for pretty much anything, but please tell me they didn't nerf the credit income this much. Basically like doing it in tier 10 if this is the case, and we all know why every single tier 10 exclusive special mode has died an unpopular death: credit loss, or at best, lack of credit gain.
