I use it to mainly do the auto updates. I then do an end process on it.

When I need to use it again it opens up quick enough so I can switch games.

I use it to update the games, install games [looking at you Common Test].

Then I create a shortcut on the desktop for each game client.  When I want to play a game - just double click on the appropriate shortcut.

How about a server lock for NA and SA that we can flip on.  I hate when I get in SA with 500 ping and 40 people, living a few hours from Chicago.

How about having the Game Center launch the 64-bit app on 64-bit MS Windows VERSUS defaulting to the 32-bit app regardless of the OS?

Another unnecessary thing which i never liked and to force players to use the so called WGC client is a pathetic joke. I was never a fan of it and was happy to have my different accounts on different games like NA, EU, RU and Asia and even CHINA. I also agree with other players that this WGC Client is more useful only for players that also like WOWS and WOWP but not for players that only play WOT. The disrespect from wargaming against the majority wishes from players is getting to a point where players wil more and more quitting this game and looking for a more player friendly game that really cares for there players. This so called new Client is just another Nail in the Coffin and you wargaming have not listen to your players which asked you multiple times to keep the old Launcher as it is and the statement that they dont fit anymore for technical reasons is just a cheap lie nothing else. I work with computers for a long time and have also a good acknowledge about programming and know what i am talking about. I am deeply disappointed by this step that you have now taken and will evaluate my options.

Where are you getting your information about the [...majority wishes...]?

Do you have access to the total responses from the Forums?

How about making a shortcut to the desktop for the World of Tanks client?  I do and, if the responses on the Forum are any indication, others are as well.  I do not need to launch the Game Center - just click on the shortcut and the World of Tanks client launches.  As you can allow the Game Center to run in the background it will silently and automatically update the client.

Another suggestion for making the Game Center better - in additional to not having the Game Center by default launch the 32-bit client on 64-bit system - is:

Do not require the downloading of the client of a particular region of the game if the user has individual region accounts for a specific game - e.g., I have EU and NA accounts, they are both listed in Game Center, but to play on a particular account I must install that region-specific client and then launch the game. There are multi-region switcher mods available in the WGMods website which would lead me to think that WG could integrate that into the Game Center.

The launcher's linked article on the game center transition is a joke - nice wording, still is 100% [edited].  Look at your numbers Wg, look at the percentage of players still using the launcher!  We don't want the Game Center - get a damn clue!

"Unfortunately, the Launcher no longer meets the latest industry and technology standards."

Lol, what a massive pile of crap - you're "unfortunately" doing it because you want to do it.  You could support the launcher for another 10 years if you wished (or if you'd just listen to your player-base).

If they are talking about the 32-bit launcher then yes it no longer meets the latest industry and technology standards.

It would be curious to know what percentage of the base is running a 32-bit OS versus a 64-bit OS ...

Please make the WGC optional. I hate the WGC and now the game doesn't start without it. It's useless and annoying.

There should be Win32 and Win64 bit folders and .exe files for WoT - at least if you're running a 64 bit system.

So you can still launch from the 64 bit .exe file and bypass WGC or simply close the launcher after you login folks.

You will need WGC for updates.  The way I understand it now if you try to launch from the exe files after an update either you won't be able to or it won't update and you'll have to update via WGC.

I only installed WGC yesterday and never had an update issue, but that's the way it's been explained.  I run a 64 bit system and can still launch directly from the .exe files - both the 32 and 64 bit versions.

If I understand it correctly the 64 bit files/system allow you to make more use of extended memory.

game center just doesn't install.

ya - tried all WG official suggestions how to fix.

I sent in a ticket, but not really hopeful.

- just wish this every publisher has to have their own launcher crap would stop.

10-22 Ticket came back with copypasta of the WG official suggestions how to fix - that I already tried.

fail parade

just more feedback to be ignored.

10-23 update Ticket came back with instructions for clean install & CCleaning of all registry items

it still failed...

10-23 later update Ticket came back asking what my permissions were. listed them for support.

not making any progress here ...

10-24 likely last update... Ticket has been placed "on-hold" until developers look at this issue.

...yeah...

I'm sure they're gonna divert someone from the "Ray-tracing omgsuchwow" project to get right on it :(

10-25 & 10-26 just tack on 2 pointless emails from support ( likely script generated ) nothing actually changed - ticket still "on-hold"

Hello .. In Argentina the whole main tab appears in English and not in Spanish.

The interface is cunfusa for all the same, the old launcher differentiated the colors well with his news of interest on the left and his promotions on the right.

Could you please correct that? I think we all would like a simple and beautiful interface as it was before

Greetings and thanks.

I hate this bullcrap piece of bloatware. It's requirement is the very reason I stopped playing World of Warships. I guess distributing bloated malware is more important to Wargaming than my money.....

NOTE: Even on a 64-bit MS Windows system the Game Center will launch the 32-bit app NOT the 64-bit World of Tanks app when you click on [PLAY]

If you want to only launch the 64-bit WorldOfTanks app then you can create a shortcut to that app and launch from the shortcut - no need to have the Game Center running.

Excellent point which makes the whole bit about WGC and industry standards laughable since it launches the 32 bit app.
