No surprise to people who follow real science instead of poltical agendas pretending to be science. I love the way it all about "global climate change" when there is a strong heat wave, a terrible hurricane or giant flood but when the data is contrary to the poltical dogma then it is all about "weather and climate are different things".

Sorry Dogmatists but you cannot have it both ways. All the Global Warming poltical hysterics corresponded to a peak in sunspot activity. Scientist saw "global warming" on Mars, Venus and the other planets and tried to explained it only to be screamed down by the dogmatists as "Climate deniers". Politicians in supposed "Liberal Democracies" wanted to prosecute "deniers" for pulling back the curtain on their scam.

Now the sun spot activity has gone into a minimum and we are seeing exactly what we see happen historical, a global cooling period.

The Chill of Solar Minimum

Sept. 27, 2018: The sun is entering one of the deepest Solar Minima of the Space Age. Sunspots have been absent for most of 2018, and the sun’s ultraviolet output has sharply dropped. New research shows that Earth’s upper atmosphere is responding.

“We see a cooling trend,” says Martin Mlynczak of NASA’s Langley Research Center. “High above Earth’s surface, near the edge of space, our atmosphere is losing heat energy. If current trends continue, it could soon set a Space Age record for cold.”

Historically cold March temperatures are freezing a large part of the U.S.
The National Weather Service office in Great Falls reported that Lewiston, in central Montana, set an all-time record for March and this late in the winter with a low of minus-34 degrees. Other record lows occurred across the Northern and Central Plains into the Upper Midwest and Pacific Northwest. A hard-to-fathom minus-46 was recorded in Elk Park, Montana According to the Weather Service, this is likely a new all-time record for March and so late in the year, for the entire state. It’s also very close to the coldest ever recorded in the Lower 48 in March, which was minus-50 in 1906 in Snake River, Wyo.

The severe climate patterns can be directly attributed to HAARP.

I've noticed the media and politico hype over climate change dropped the global warming part and are just using it as a generic boogeyman and are not even saying what the actual threat is just that its bad and hey trust us that its bad. Remember we only have 12 years left because reasons!

Oh haha. Narrative c-c-c-c-combo breaker!

My community will survive. We are low enough in the nation to still grow crops if the mini ice age hits and far enough away to not worry about the chud outbreak once the food in the city runs out and they start eating each other. The sheriffs and good old boys will take care of any small groups that manage to make it to us. Sadly a rail line does run past the town which eventually goes through the city and that will be a natural route of expansion. Luckily there are a few other towns and suburban areas it passes through first so the chances are slim any make it to us.

Amazon rolls out machines that pack orders and replace jobs
https://www.reuters....e-idUSKCN1SJ0X1

Do these companies that are replacing workers with robots ever stop to think about the full ramifications? What happens when a significant portion of a countries workforce gets replaced by robots, robots which don't spend money on products or services?

This is kinda a snarky reply but retrain to fix the robots when they break down. Every innovation in automation brings new human jobs to compliment the jobs lost or else we would all still be toiling out in the fields for our daily bread. The automation genie is out of the bottle so it will be up to us as a society on how to restructure back to a 50's era culture of one main income earner in a traditional nuclear family. There will be enough jobs of joe selling burgers to fred who fixes the plumbing for jack who builds a home for jill who styles hair the hair of sally who does the bookkeeping for all of them to keep the old post ww2 way of life viable. Remember that the push for two main wage earners(the whole keeping up with the jones thing) splitting up the nuclear family is one of our greatest mistakes and once corrected we will be fine.
