I got a 20% off coupon for any item $12 or more USD. problem, I'm Canadian. Meaning I use CAD and the coupon is invalid. Any ideas?

your coupon will work if you try to buy something that you can use it on, which isn't that much. It doesn't care if you are Canadian or not.

what are you trying to buy? I am Canadian and it lets me use it on items that it CAN be used on. Won't show up if it can't be used.
