Opinion ... all these super good players LOVE to post their stats in the forum as part of their signature ... super good playesr WANT everyone to know they are unicoms, or near-unicoms ... super good player want everyone to know they are in ELITE clans with SUPER high ratings .... so many players re-roll to SHOW OFF their inflated stats ... so many players SEAL CLUB to inflate their stats ...

these same players DON'T want their stats to be shown DURING BATTLES!

Your stats are yours, no reason to hide them or boast about them.  They simply are a representation of one's tanks adventure.

I would not mind the ability to hide stats at least during battle.

Too many third party sites can pull up your stats and obviously XVM can still display your general stats in-game.
Also PR is shown for strongholds and lists teams as such.
With this and a multitude of other factors, hiding your stats wouldn't really do anything for you.

IF WG blocks the api for said stats - then the 3rd party sites can not read them and makes them useless

Maybe, but I am no expert but that might be stepping on someone else's toes and could be a legal issue? Not sure but I understand what you mean.

I'm all for blocking stats in battle. XVM distorts gameplay by providing far too much info that shouldn't be available on the fly, giving unfair advantages to those who use it over those who choose not to.

I want stats hidden DURING GAMEPLAY because I'm tired of hearing whiners complain about percentages at the start of each game. If I wanted that info I'd have XVM installed already myself. It is HIGHLY annoying and unproductive.
