Tell me im wasting my time and it's highly unlikely i'll achieve the tier 9 reward tank by grinding my way through all the tiers and prestiges. With work, school, other errands only time i have during the night is from 11pm-1am. Wargaming sure know how to create an event just so slightly under impossible for a sane and normal working human. :izmena: I'll probably call it quits on the reward tanks and just use FL for xp and Silver.

What are ya'll aiming for? For fun, xp, silver, 8s vs 8s, different than 15 vs 15, bonds, tanks, etc etc etc.?

Silver, xp are my secondary goals

My primary is fun.  I think it's way better than grand battles.  Love the way it makes tier 8 fun again as I've got a ton of tier 8 tanks.  That makes it a very dynamic mode for me.

I've only been able to play it 3 times this week, and I'm happy.  Time well spent.  Way better investment than random mode.

I quit playing it after just a few battles. They last to long and get boring.

I've basically accepted that I won't make it to the tier 9, the Emil would be nice but with school and my snowboarding trips over the weekend, i'm basically left with no time to play for an entire week of frontlines.

Of course they couldn't do this event during summer vacation, but they have to spread it out over 10 months so I would be only playing possibly 2 weeks during my vacation and the other 8 are during school when I use my weekends for either golf or snowboarding depending on the season.

thanks, WG...

Its going to be going on for awhile so some investment might pay off later in the year.

Welp, 30,500 points are needed to Prestige each time. That breaks down to 4357.143 points per day in a given week. Going further that's 13 games at Lieutenant Rank, 8 games at Captain Rank, 5 at Major Rank or 4 at General Rank per day in a given week. I need to be fact-checked, but I believe FL usually lasts just shy of 20 minutes to just under 30 minutes per game or 2-3 full games per hour.

Personally FL bores the heck outta me. It's super repetitive. At least Pokemon has different gyms, trainer dialogue, and pokemon of course per battle. Only playing FL because it pays out 7000 bonds and 3200 gold in total. Getting a couple free premium tanks along the way is just a bonus for me.

I don't care about the tier 9.  I would like the swede premium.  Hopefully doable but if not I won't cry about the free wz.

frontline is a lot more fun than random mode, i just wanted the credits tbh, dont really care about the tanks. Dont worry if youre aiming for the tanks you can bet your a** that wargaming will offer a ''superb'' deal to get the last prestige levels or just directly the tank. You think theyre gonna miss the opportunity to rip you off? :D

I'm just banking credits. The tanks will be in the holiday sales at some point.

I don,t need the credits, I own the first 2 reward tanks and I,am unlikely to reach the 3 reward tank, so I guess I,am playing FL because its different and a lot more interesting than the all too predictable random battles and its single tier so more fun

I have to see how far along I can get in this first week. I fell short of 2 levels last night, but am still ahead of the game so far at level 22. With the weekend I should be able to crank more battles than the weekdays, so we'll see.

My original goal was to get the Emil and the tier 9, since only 2 will be allowed and I have the first 2 already. But if I only get the Emil, I'll be happy.

The issue is that any well thought out plan now could get derailed in the many months to come this year, so just take this mode for what it is this week and reassess every month when it comes back. I'm sure many players's plans will change multiple times.

My actual goal is the Swedish tank (I love that line), but I'm not sure I'll be able to get there in a full season with my real-life obligations (work, family, friends, other hobbies, etc). I do find the game mode to be a nice change of pace for this one week each month, and I like that it's only one week per month because I do feel if it were a permanent mode it would soon grow stale on me too. The tier/prestige rewards are very nice, and even if I don't quite reach the Swede Premium in the end, I should be able to at least unlock the first reward tank and snag some more goodies along the way...all while actually enjoying the game more and more!

1 prestige level per week, with level 8 prestige you will have enough points for the tier 9 reward. There is no need to move forward, if you can gain 3 prestige level in one week, nice, you are aheading work, but that is all.

I also work and have little time, plus 1 day unable to play, but I am about to earn prestige 1.

If you can't earn 1 prestige per week, try to achieve prestige 8 in the 10 weeks, sacrifice a saturday too and play a lot.

In another thread someone said prestige 1 in 16 battles or something to that effect.  Not going to happen for 99% of the players, maybe for none of them.  I played a lot yesterday and found it a lot more difficult to hit major for some reason, still haven't hit general but I don't have the best tanks for frontline because I don't have any auto-loaders in my garage.  Going to have buy back the progetto I think to start doing a little better.

While it would be enough points you still need Prestige 10 to unlock it.

It's not unfairly designed IMO because it has a lot of incremental rewards (millions of bonus credits, consumables, gold(!), bonds) but the grind to the premium T9 is serious.
