Not much going for it. As a scout it is really easily spotted. Maybe the crew is worth it at the lowest price.

I got the M41D early release because I had a 20% coupon that worked with the unbundled tank offer. Didn't need the tank but I enjoy LTs and for $25 (with coupon) then why not? Plenty of people will hate on the tank for being a copy and for LTs being an ineffective tank class. For the general WoT player, they are correct. However, if you are an experienced player that enjoys LTs you will enjoy the M41D. It's a little slow and a little big compared to other LTs, but it is still plenty fast and mobile. The gun is great; high pen and good handling for its tier/class. I have hit a bunch of crazy on the move shots. Basically, a medium tank gun on an LT. For me, the better gun characteristics make the M41D different enough (and better) then the tech tree Bulldog. Finally, I love premiums that are different from their nation's tech tree tanks (like the Revalorise). The Chinese LTs are all very similar; big guns and some armor (at least compared to other LTs), but with the M41D in the garage you get the normal Chinese LT playstyle and a totally different playstyle. One crew, two ways to play LTs (Bonus, the crew layout is the same). I wish there were more premiums that offered an alternative playstyle from their nation's tech tree counterparts.

Anywho, the M41D is a good premium. Nothing spectacular, it's not OP or game changing, but the good gun and gun handling make the tank and it fills an interesting niche for the Chinese LT line.

Jambijon, Wargaming owes me the M41D for my suggestion to offer all Tier 8 Premium Tanks for sale before and during Front Lines last season.  Could you please follow up and send that to me ASAP?

Thank you.

:)

How do you have 26 k battles and still think dpm is a meaningful stat???

well after using the Tank comparison chart. This thing seems to carry more top values of all other LT's including premium's.. (With the exception of the Panhard, HENCE TANKS, not wheelies). Uses the same standard crew setup as the WZ-132, which one my most used and favorite LT's to play. Even though the M41D is a larger size, pretty much what was wrote above.. Medium in a LT body, It has a few better stats that are just slightly above and or below the WZ 132.

Here is a link to the tank comparison of the Light Tanks

I am really considering purchasing this tank.. it will be the 1st ever tank I have directly purchased from WG and I dont think i would regret it. I have not yet played the Walker B to give a reasonable comparison so it would be something knew to learn and use in FL :)

oh just noticed that it has side skirts.. this may provide some help with angling? HE's? I would like to hear from some players who have purchased this tank and how they may or may not like it.. Might have to do a quickybaby youtube search review on it if its out there..

Still no camo in the base package? Camo is much better than a free crew.

How do you have more than that and not understand it's usefulness?

Just because you don't understand how to use a feature of a tank doesn't mean that the feature and/or tank is useless.  It means you don't know/understand how to properly use the vehicle...

That deficiency is on you, not the tank!
