Frontline 2019 Is Harder

I missed out on Frontline 2.2.  Playing Frontline 2.3 this evening I had a hard time getting used to the new flow.  The YOLO is maximum intensity.  I'd spawn in one zone and either our defense was keeping the attack out of our zone or there was just nothing to shoot at , while the next zone over was a mass of red.  I'd change zones, and suddenly the YOLO was somewhere else.  I felt like I was getting OK damage, but I was unable to get to Lieutenant.  I do like the extra chaos with people trying to flank in the wheelies and lights, as opposed to the more static play that developed in Frontline a year ago. Fast lights would regularly appear behind our defenses or try to pick off defenders on the flanks to spice things up.

Today's Frontline game I finally got on Attack, which is MUCH better.  I capped C and F and did 50% damage to objective 4, and got to Captain.

Played a Frontline battle when I got home from work, and since I was on Attack I got Captain again. 

 

When I looked at the teams I noticed something really unexpected - only one other player on either team used a Frontline rental "FL" tank!  (I spend over half of my Frontline time in the T-44 FL, and I always start a battle in it.)  Do people really buy that many overpriced Tier 8 premiums?

With wheeled vehicles and people figuring out sniping spots from outside the zone, it's closer to 85% attacker wins now.

The win/loss record on attack and defense for my teams has been equal this episode
