The autoaim one may not be. What does it do?

The other ones may be....

Aslian's modpack itself will not drop frames. It just installs the mods. Thats it.

All of the mods in aslain's mod pack are legal and will not get you banned - i have used his mod pack in the past and i have never noticed a fps drop

That particular auto-aim may get you banned... I would not recommend it.

Modpacks are just installing mods by your choice. Modpack itself can't slow down your PC or cause FPS drops.

But for clarification:

  • autoaim_by_chodak_krzysztof.zip - Allowed
  • AutoEquipModByEkspoint.zip - get rid of this one (and all Ekspoint's mods) - it's not illegal, but contains adware. Better choice is Auxilium mod from ShuraBB
  • Direction_Box_Full_By_Spoter.zip - I don't know what version exatly is this one, but on the author's description page you can read:

    Block Quote

RU: "mod_dir_indicator_extended - "Тылы", показывает стрелочки направления на врагов, меняет цвет если они в простреле (частично запрещённый мод, для легализации в опциях мода отключите все стрелочки кроме "Ближайший противник

= partialy illegal mod. You need to disable all options except the "Nearest enemy" in mod settings, to be legal. Maybe try this one
  • 1_BO_1.19.1_WOT_1.zip(Battle Observer ) - Allowed

Thank you all above.

I have been using aslain's modpack for several years.
After installing aslain modpack, the fps drop is real. There is 60-100fps without it. but it can only go to 20-50fps after installation.

But I don't know if it is caused by XVM or which mod in aslain's.

Thank you very much for your explanation and links.

I will take your advice and download those two mods from the links above.

I have tried your modpack before. The reason why I chose aslain is because he has a preview.  :p

Sure, XVM is known FPS eater.

PS: My modpack contains previews too (pictures/sounds). This is a four years old video - https://www.youtube....h?v=K0D-YQOKtQY

Just a clarification, it's not the modpack that is lowering your fps, but certain mods you have installed from it. Since I have large database of mods there is a good chance you will overload yourself with mods. So pick them carefully and don't install things you don't need.

Block Quote

1. autoaim_by_chodak_krzysztof.zip

2. AutoEquipModByEkspoint.zip

3.. 1_BO_1.19.1_WOT_1.zip(Battle Observer )

1. Depends where you got the mod from, there is also illegal version from him - keep that in mind!

2. You have been already warned that there is good chance for adware/malware and what not.

3. Depends which version you install, if it's with the GUI part there is a chance for adware from polarfox dependency file.

ps. you can also install without XVM from my modpack, just simply don't check anything from the XVM branch.
