I voted for "Its an alright tank line and I have no problems with it".

I haven't played any of them yet (nor do I have any plans to any time soon), so I can't comment on whether or not they're OP or need a nerf or whatever, but I have fought against them. They really aren't all that difficult to shoot at, even at 300 metres +, and they look funny when you destroy them at high speeds.

it's a good tank however WoT mechanics are way more behind its purpose. The tank is waaaaaay too fast, has an insane VR and its too hard to detect even for fully skilled crew with full configured TD "" for example "" ..... either WG-WoT devs nerf it or it will ruin the day for everyone.

Each day I see less and less of them.

I don't think it is a big deal.

The vehicles are fine themselves.

They just need to auto-aim function removed.

What works should do is actuvate our machine guns on our tanks. I would be good with playing with clown cars idnthey did that.

They don't seem to be a big deal, maybe it was the boost removal. The only issue I have is that it usually takes multiple main gun hits to kill. Even the high tier ones should be capped at about 400 HP.

If you think that wheeled tanks are gonna kill this game, you are just looking for a reason to quit.

I don't mind the speed, I hate their auto aim it should be just like any other light tanks out there. The mod its based off of was removed and it should stay removed. Their aim time is too fast should be in line with the other French lights and their dispersion on the move is way too accurate, at high speeds it should be nearer 5 than the upper 3s low 4s that they get, at their speeds they should be more of a spotter than a hit and git let them slow way down for more accurate shooting. I encountered one in a heavy, without him slowing down, he locked on and hit me 5 times as he's driving past and my turret/tank rotation is so slow I cant touch him. Also at the higher speeds their camo values ought to be worse as they'd be kicking up so much dust and dirt you'd see them coming for miles.

One last item it seems like I bounce off them more than I do shooting at light tanks, when I do score a hit.

Maybe like arty you limit them to one or two per battle at most. I'd lmboif they would run out of gas after 8 constant minutes of top speeds

What? They would be absolutely useless if they were capped at 400HP. Nobody would ever play them, and for good reason.

Well, I accidently bought the Panhard EBR when I was just looking at it for sale in the premium shop. My son actually moved the curser to the Paypal button and clicked it when I was looking away!

Anyways, the Tier 8 premium is a blast to play. I am not the best player, however, I have had some really good games in it. I don't think the armored car's are game breaking at all. These are not forgiving at all with mistakes. In the hands of really, really good players, yes they can seem OP. to us average joes, they do not break the game at all. This is my opinion anyways.

Cheers

Should've given it average VR and not arty VR. Sure make it an active scout but that doesn't mean let it be out-spotted by TDs sitting out in the open. Speed or not most maps limit high speed vehicles it isn't really hard to hit something. combine this with sub spar light camo and you have either a camper or someone who just hides around teammates to steal kills can't even move around effectively on most maps given the turn radius and corridors. Wasted potential, at best.

How I would nerf balance the cars...

1.  Speed:

The top speed in the game, prior to the existence of the cars was 80km/hr, with the Rhm Pzw...  This is THE #1 worst tier 10 in the game (the stats do not lie).  So whilst it may have a fantastic view range of 420m, this is hampered by its large size, comparable to that of some Medium Tanks...  It's gun is also somewhat mediocre, but has some interesting HE with a high penetration...  This means that the cars should also have a maximum speed of 80km/hr, the flip side is their enhanced mobility/agility given that they need multiple wheel hits in order to immobilize...

2.  Gun:

Not many tanks can hit targets whilst on the move at full speed, at 200m...  Even less can hit targets reliably at 400m...  I don't think there's any others capable of JUMPING, swinging the gun onto an autolock in midair and firing (and hitting) an enemy TD 442m away...  Yes some light tanks have improved gun performance while moving - case in point, the T-100 LT, but not to the level of the cars...  To this end, I would reduce the cars accuracy on the move by dropping it to a comparable level to the current tracked Light Tanks (excluding the T-100 LT)...

3.  Hitpoints:

Given these changes, I think a slight HP increase on each vehicle would be justified, bringing them more in line with comparable Light Tanks:

AMD 178b - 570 + 30 = 600

Hotchkiss EBR - 750 + 50 = 800

Lynx 6x6 - 920 + 80 = 1000

EBR 90 - 1150 + 100 = 1250

EBR 105 - 1300 + 150 = 1450

The Premium can't be nerfed altered, so it can remain at 950hp...

4.  View Range:

I would say the view range is fine, just giving the vehicles the option to use Binoculars would be preferential...  For those saying it is contrary to its' intended role, if the car is counted as a scout and is placed against an enemy scout, yet has no ability to spot said enemy scouts except to wait for the enemy to shoot it, thus spotting them, then there needs to be some clarification...

5.  Restrictions:

100 and 105 Octane should be restricted - they already have a high turret traverse and specific power...

Toolbox should be restricted - the wheels already repair fast enough...

I believe these should be sufficient nerfs adjustments to fix the cars...

Where do I find the armored cars with insane view range? I have the t8 with max crew, optics, and bond vents but the view range is 399. Lowe has 400 base, some of my other t8 lights get over 500 with optics.

up to tier 8 they are fine, the tier 9 and tier 10x i think break the game.  The autolock firing on the move mechanic with 400+ potential damage makes playing against them at tier 8 or tier 7 just unplayable.  Might as well not even bother.  Can't do enough damage to stop them when you do get lucky and they can just run rings around any tank out there.  It's silly, more so they can rush into a crowd of tanks hit 1-2 times without aiming and because of turret traverse usually won't get touched.    rinse/repeat until a dominant position because of other players mistakes is nullified.   What's the point of skill when something can just break it at will with little to no skill itself?  No need to aim.   Get rid of the auto lock lack of need to aim and then they would probably be fine.  As it is, just dumb.

out of all my matches since their release, all I see is players yoloing/suiscouting in them by bomb rushing into the heart of the enemy team early into game and die either from fighting wheeled vehicles or light tanks or they're driving so fast that they crash into a rock or building and become an easy target as a result.

The problem is that the role has been badly muddled. WG says 'active scouts', but unless you pimp out the tier 10 with food, improved equipment, directives, and a max VR crew, you're blind. But there is a novel feature here and its the combination of the speed, stealth, and high-pen HE. But not that many players realize this, probably because WG only mentioned it as an obscure afterthought. So what we have is a class that's difficult to use, poorly understood, and not helped at all by the corridor meta. And yet here on the forums there's this odd consensus that the wheelibois are OP and breaking the game. I haven't seen cognitive dissonance like this in ages.
