Actually, I like the Panther 8.8 better.  Now, I do like the 5/1 but for me, the Panther just seems to work out better, especially in Frontlines.

Hota spend some time in the Cent it requires it to learn to max out what it can do. Absolute beast in FL. I am a 50% so not a gifted player of WoT very average. But with the Tornado's ripping up the area last week may miss some time in WoT FL week.

ln the hands of an average player, T-44-100 and Centurion 5/1 RAAC are the best tier 8 medium tanks. Actually, l would also put T26E5 and FCM50T up there too, camo isn't all that useful with average players, and these tanks are fast enough to play as mediums, and benefit an average player accordingly. But strictly medium tanks, T-44-100 and RAAC are the most forgiving and flexible and balanced.

ln the hands of an expert though, all of a sudden progetto and lorraine unlock extreme potential and ability.

Like my fairly recent Cent 1 a lot. Kills me though that the 5/1 is better and can be bought.

Also have a well equipped T-44 tech model. She's a beaute to play when you get into it. Different to the Centurion.

Progetto is a great tank for sure. Awesome mobility and an awesome gun. But it isn't going to bounce anything, much less Tier X.

I really enjoy my Cent 5/1. The tough turret, fast firing and accurate gun fits my play style.

It is well known to be garbage.  Garbage such as yourself would comment on a tank they don't own and insist a garbage tank is better.  To top it off garbage like you has only 3 battles in garbage 8.8.  With no wins.

Bye garbage.

I dusted off my FV 4202 for frontlines and was quite pleasantly surprised by how much it can bounce in all tier 8 ridge fights. I’d pick up the Mk 5/1 RAAC, but on the surface it just seems the same as the FV for the most part.

I have both.

It isn't.

I strongly agree with the original assessment.   I want to admit that I don't own every teir 8 medium however.

It's just plain better in every way.

And noticeably, too.
