Might try buying this tank today as it's 30% off.  Just wondering about equipment; right now it looks like vents, optics and suspension at first so I don't have to wait for best suspension module.  Eventually, I'll be replacing the suspension (Enh Tors Bars 1t class I think) with something, but not exactly sure what.  Wiki says V, O and VS Mk1, but using the wayback machine for vbaddict I get the most popular in this order:  V, O, E, B, C, Susp, VS, SL and TB.  Based on that, I would think E (or EGLD) as the third piece of equipment.  I also noticed a lot of people suggesting VS as third piece of equipment in old threads.  I will be playing this thing active but not crazy active.  What do you guys think?

I'm currently running vents, optics, vert stabs, and food. In general, vert stabs are always chosen over a GLD if you have the option.

I guess that means a lot of people submitting to vbaddict for the amx 12t did not know what they were doing?

Do not put a GLD on a scout.

The ONLY exception might be the T49 with the derp, but even then you would use it in addition to a vstab, not in place of.

A lot depends on your crew.  The AMX12T has lousy base view range and can't even passive spot without binos if you don't have a skilled crew, which is of course difficult as the commander is also the RO.  Even once I had a skilled crew, I stuck with vents, VStabs and binos (and food).  With it's insane camo, it makes a great passive scout early game and can active scout late game, like the wheelies relying on camo and agility to make up for poor base VR.

I used binocs, optics, net till my crew was 100% camo. Then swapped the net for vents.

I went with vents, optics and suspension for now.  Once I get the best suspension module at end, I'll switch suspension out for VStabs.

I run mine with a vertical stabiliser, optics, and a camo net.

Crew: BIA, Smooth Ride, Deadeye, and Sixth sense

Large repair kit, large first aid kit, auto fire extinguisher
