Came back from a 14-16 month break, not back really just pubbing it out once in a while...

anyhow... noticed a few times now once get into a spotting position - behind trees/bushes I m being targeted without being spotted ...

last night rolling with my Bro ... he started getting shot in the same way without being spotted - anyone has anything to say about this ?

thanks

If your going to commonly known spots for spotting most people blind shoot the areas so if they hit you your fault for going to known areas where people blind shoot and without a replay hard to say for 100% sure

As stated above, blind firing known bushes is common.  Would need a replay to say better.

Going to locations, well known as sniper/spotter locations, and that bright, shiny tin foil suit and hat you're wearing, gives away your location...

Seems legit...

I kinda doubt that  guys,,,, i have been in many ClanWar / Tournament battles - some of the bushes were somewhat large and to guess my exact Position 2/2 or 3/3 shoots would be almost impossible from a range on top

I m thinking there's something out there ...

It's called too much tin foil and you choose to wear it in public... :P

go suck on a popsicle mate - the only legit explanation i have -must be the laser mod which allows players to see from where you re aiming , unless there's something else at this point....

i play Vanilla mode since day 1 - but i know folks that use mods - not sure if the laser mod still in use... wondering if Wargaming is tracking this sort of stuff -

Must be terrible to suck at the game and expect everyone to believe your conspiracy theory...

Keep on wearing all that tin foil, it emphasizes the color of your eyes and makes you look like you lost weight... :girl:

Why ask the question when the only answer you will except is the one you want to hear. Just go off somewhere and talk to yourself.

Got a replay?  If you've taken shots from the bush the person you were shooting at can get a good idea where you were.  Also if your spotting as a scout it is fairly easy to figure out what bush the scouts are in if you have 6th sense.  Just keep peeking out till you know how far you go before you get spotted and look for a bush.

this is a legit concern, it happened - not once or twice - being told pick better bushes isn't quite the answer in this case - perhaps Cheaters are actually out there...

In the settings, there's a "battle marker" which gives a giant arrow from where a shot is fired. But, you seem to "know it all" already... :P

Maybe a quick look into the settings will help you get beyond your tin foil conspiracy...

But, at this point, I highly doubt it... :amazed:

Nebo has been around a long time so unless somebody else acquired the account, treating him like a [edited]isn't really helpful.  As to the original question, it's unlikely that it was a cheat.  If you were in frontline, it was a spotter plane. If a pub match either lucky blind fire or some other mechanic.  Could it have been an illegal mode, sure.  We'd need a replay to know for sure.

There are a lot of explanations that could explain what is happening that I would not automatically scream "CHEATER".....though you could be right, someone might be using a cheat mod.  However, it would have to be something other than a cheat on vision mechanics, as i believe that is handled server side.  Maybe you are right that is it the red laser cheat.

Do you know 100% that you have 6th sense?  There has been instances lately where 6th sense does not seem to work 100% of the time.  Most likely it is someone blind shooting the bush you are in.....especially if you had fired at the tank that shot you.  With the new directional indicator of where the shot came from, it is very easy to shoot back successfully.

Known Nebo for a long time. He's not one to scream cheats at the drop of a hat.
