Was just on defense. A collapsed in a zerg rush, moved to B to defend, but it soon followed with (SURPRISE) help from A. C was BLOCKED to join because it was full. This is how NOT to play Frontline defense.

My favorite is when the enemies take out Objectives 1 and 2, meanwhile we have 15 tanks still defending C from getting capped out. 

 

Great thing about this mode though is that winning doesn't matter so there's no use getting upset. You can still do your own thing and rank up even if teammates are potatoes.

Taking the initiative and farming damage while everything gradually turns into a [edited]show around me has given me some of the best games I've ever had in FL. Also note that the standard strategy is to zerg rush one of the initial three defense points and take it with sheer numbers, or rush with lights using full engineering boost to flip the cap as fast as possible. Well placed shots can keep a cap from flipping too fast but the defenders are slaves to their cannon reloads. The only real choice is to defend with more numbers, unfortunately.

Most of you guys are thinking too much...

 

shoot stuff, cap when you can, reset when you can, make crazy credits, earn cool rewards, have fun.

I love when some ebrs go from one field to anither, kill all objectives because we are to slow to move. They kill all and we are still low ranked.

The purpose the game mode is to

1. Have fun.

2. get massive amounts of credits.

3. get massive amounts of xp for tanks, crews, whatever

4. gain prestige rank for rewards. 

 

All of these goals are greatly diminished if the game ends to quickly.

When i am on a crap team that loses A and C very fast, (which is the easiest 2 caps to defend)  i just jump into my EBR and start going arty hunting, Few matches ago i went from lieutenant to Major by killing 9 arties the whole match, hit A, B, C then move on to F, E, D and back to ABC again, They just kept spawning back into the game!!!!

My gripe would be that I get one attack per day and the rest are defense. So far about 90% of all my FL games have been on Def.

Attackers win like 90% of the time... in my experience anyway.
