In the future could we see the possibility of them in fl mode? It could be workable with diminishing returns.... For example first kill is 250.... second 200 third 150 until they're worth no gold..... Dunno if it would be a great idea but it would allow for sheriffs/deputies in FL....

That's not how the system is set up though. We have a mission on our end that is completed by killing a sheriff that rewards you with gold, there is no way to do diminishing returns for killing them based on the amount of times a sheriff has died.

I also don't know if the mission will work in Frontlines. While there is no mission battle mode restriction on it, other missions like play your class right and the on-track (which is annoying since I'm grinding the tier 8 in Frontlines) have no restrictions either, but are not accomplished by playing Frontlines.

Besides that, the guy playing sheriff won’t be getting any ranking up of his normal account fornthe reward tanks.  Would kind of suck to be that guy, wouldn’t it?

Good question! So we were actually hoping that Sheriffs would work in FL for every respawn, but unfortunately it looks like the mechanic that makes the 'Hunt the Sheriffs' mission work doesn't want to play nice with Frontline :(

Short of asking every sheriff to write down the usernames of every player that kills them in every FL match and paying them out manually (which is kind of a huge ask), there doesn't seem to be a way for us to immediately make it work. The request has been made but currently we don't have a timeline for if/when that will be possible, since the Sheriff missions are pretty old, functionally.

I would hate to be a sheriff and not get a reward tank because my progression was on a sheriff account and not my own account. Only way that would work is if they used there own accounts to keep it fair. I doubt wot would want to give out that much gold but then again wot business plan is to kill the game so this might not hurt.

If I cannot get to grips with the intracies of FL after a combined 40k games of WOt then beginners have no chance of success.

By tier 8 you should have quite a bit of creds in the bank instead of worrying and chasing 250 gold.

IMHO go home and ask your Mom to increase your pocket money to allow you to play. :harp:
